Well, HT came at a good time. Superb clearance from Jack off the line but that was definite handball before that. Should have been a pen. Oh well, no VAR.

 

Great first 30 minutes. Players are visibly tiring now though. Adarma isn't his usual self. Stuie done well but out of gas. Those are the two I'd switch up. Aribo/Rothwell and Brooks on.

 

Stephens looks like a fish out of water at LB.

Yeah it was. You'd be screaming for a pen if it happened down the other end.

 

Good 1st half. Dominated for 30mins but west brom were coming on strong . Tough 2nd half to come. That would have been a harsh pen too. Jack's arm was pretty much by his side. Not sure what he could do there

 

West Brom showed in the last 15 of the half why they're so tough to beat at home. On balance 1-0 is a fair score as we dominated the first half hour but warning signs are there.

 

Need to get the changes right, as tough half to come. Adarma seems well off it.

 

At first viewing it look like it just hit Stephens on the right arm, but replay shows he clearly blocked it with the left.

 

Great first thirty, horrid last fifteen. Stu bailing out Fraser/Stephens a couple of times. Not sure if Smallbone is playing, but Charles looks more steady. Adarma needs a couple of games out I think.

 

His arms were also up, not in a natural position.

 

Never a pen and VAR would have ended up with a pen which is why it’s bollocks

 

I could be radical and suggest taking off Mara and bring on Manning, play Stephens on left of 3 CBs to cover for Mannings inability to defend on occasions.
