Yes we can get "proper milk" but it means a trip of twelve miles to buy some. We usually obtain some if we have visitors from the UK, but don't bother anymore when it is for the two of us. Someone told us that if you have the skimmed version of UHT milk it does not have the strange taste and we have found that to be true. The morning is grey at the moment, but the fog of yesterday has gone. 10C at present, 16C forecast for later, so it is becoming a bit colder.
Our shopping is a 20 mile round trip - for milk we get a week's supply at a time and use a Cravendale type that has a good shelf life
Morning all, survived the night so my cleaning and venting must have worked. Found the paperwork and boiler is actually 22 years old . Lets hope someone can service it for now and hold the replacement off for a couple of months. Has no-one told my boiler that it's nearly Christmas and I need my money for other things!!
Glad to hear your ok Sandy Do you get a lot of lime scale in your area , boiler might just need new filters and a good de-coke.......if your lucky
glad you had a good night Sandy! Our boiler is over 30 years old so i'm told lol...it still works, just! But we've been talking about replacing it for along time...there just seems to always be other priorities. Morning all! Rushing to work again...i seem never to have enough time, whatever time i get up! lol. 12C forecast here today, Norway, bring your woollies, it's going to get cold at the match on Tuesday! See you all later have a great morning!
Damn, and I though my boiler was old!! I bet the ever increasing amount of traffic must affect your lessons these days. Do your pupils ever get above 10mph in the mornings? But at least their clutch control will be exceptional.
Its not cold H!! I think i proved that on Saturday! Morning all, busy day here, parcels on my own today before finishing my room and then job hunting. Weather wise its ok, could be better though. Sees you later.
