Not long now til the emergency loan window ends; it'll be interesting to see what happens in the following area's AOB to ??? Sanchez Watt HAS gone to sheff wed Maik Taylor to come in as back up for Lonners Rachubka was bought back in yesterday for a behind closed doors game at Thorp Arch. He kept a clean sheet, and we beat Blackpool 2-0. Does that indicate that we are keeping him. Quite brave to bring him back against the team where he made so many howlers!!! I wonder what was going through his mind just before kick off? It can't have been easy for the fella... Just wondering if anyone has heard any other whispers? Anybody got a song of the day, its been a while?
Morning Elland, Cosmic, & others joining. Interesting to see what happens with AOB. He was rubbish at the start of the season, but apparently wasn't fit. He came back against Leicester & had a good game. He would apparrently have played against Burnley had he not spat his dummy out. Are any decent clubs going to want to take a risk on him either have a southamptesque type of game, or spitting his dummy out again if the fans get on his back?
Blimey, 3 messages before I start my morning meeting with the troops, morning Cosmic, Boggers and Jen, lovin the song choice btw, be back in 30 mins. Cosmic, can't see the ER faithful giving Rachubka another chance! Boggers, West Ham want him. Jen, you're cute xo
Morning all Playing behind closed doors is completely different to playing at Elland Road! Rachubka needs to go out on loan & play in front of people to get his career back on track. I still dont think he will ever play for us again a goal keepers game has a lot to do with confidence & that has been shattered now. AOB can go **** himself as far as I am concerned. Hes only had a handfull of good games for us, hes the wrong side of 30 & a top earner that cant force his way into our worst position on the pitch. Hes done us a huge favour & saved us around 12k a week. Send him on loan to either an SPL club or a L1 club & if west ham have ideas about him (as much as I would love him to dent there title push) tell them to do one as apparently we dont sell to rivals
I wouldnt fancy seeing rach back in goal for us but wouldnt want him to go down the pan...goalkeeper is the ****test position in footabll..being a number 2 keeper even worse
Agree mate. He was outstanding for us pre season & also there must have been something about him to knock around Old Trafford for a while whilst he was younger. Still, **** happens and I think the best thing we both should do is part company as our whole fanbase will be on his back (or Graysons) if he makes the slightest fumble & a Goalkeeper needs to be full of confidence everytime he comes for the ball. Oh & Morning Jen didnt see you there
Long weekend booked off for me Off to Bournemouth Saturday night. Love the place, but dont get a warm welcome wearing my colours down there!
I dont think its the team hes playing thats the problem, I dont think hes got big enough balls to play in front of our fans! Hes **** n I dont want to see him anywhere near the pitch again! watch the video on Youtube or Rachubkas finest Leeds moment its embarrassing
http://www.leedsunited.com/news/20111124/goalkeeper-signs-up-for-united_2247585_2526125 Not sure we'll have to worry about him playing for us again. I'm sure he'll end up at a league one club when the transfer window reopens and i'd imagine we'd sign Taylor until the end of the season, when that happens.
Rachubka could go out on loan at Millwall. A typical home game is as quiet as a behind closed door game, and the fans are very understanding...
