I don't really care what you think.

Anyway, this is a match thread and I respect RTB, another personal friend I've been to games with.

    Have a good night.

    :emoticon-0149-no:

Lack of energy and concentration in midfield was the problem tonight.

I know he hasn’t been great this season but another Roberts injury is a blow. He’ll be a miss. Ba is great one week, ****e the next. Mundle just finding his feet. Frustrating.

Was that not an expected result? I'm totally annoyed, but I expected it.

Not been mentioned tonight, but on the occasions I've seen him Pembele looks a very poor defender

I wouldn’t say expected but it’s certainly no surprise.

    Oh well. Live in hope.

I guess its Beale out after tonight!

Win at Brum and every thing will be hunky dory

Than lose next match after and its Beale out again

    Such is life

Exactly. All Beale’s fault tonight. The players apparently didn’t want to play for him! Yet on Saturday gone….. Does my head in!!! In the words of Jon Bon Jovi, Keep the faith

    Not at all.

I don’t like to be over critical. It’s the manner of the defeat that angers me, not the result.

I accept that we will lose plenty of games, that’s football.

But to go from one of the most exciting team in the league, to one that struggles to string 2-3 passes together concerns me as a supporter, a supporter that often goes to matches and gives my full support.

Smug is a fantastic supporter that doesn’t like to criticise and that’s commendable. But people who give constructive criticism should be allowed to do so. Especially if it’s not personal.

He came on as a wing back when we were losing. So I’d not expect him to look great. Not sure I’ve seen him play in a defensive role yet

I am generally somebody who always tries to look for a positive in our performance but I set my alarm for 3:30 in morning to watch that and have to say there were very few positives. Away from home we play a very negative way with 2 holding midfielders and we sit back and try and hit on the counter. We are so much better when we dictate the game and press higher up the pitch. When we are away from home mark JC and win the game seems to be the only tactic and it works every time. That was poor from MB and the coaching staff and from the players don't think anybody comes out of that game with credit and I do think worst performance of the season for me and we have had some bad ones.
MB and his coaches need to go back to the drawing board and find out what the reason is but for me we play differently and are more defensive/passive away from home.

Frustrating sums up this season so far, so much potential here just pretty inconsistent, still a chance we can put a run together and get in the top 6 but some very tricky games approaching fast, need 4 points minimum from brum and Swansea

It just seems you don’t post when we play well, or at least get a good result, ie boro and you’re straight on after a bad un, but hey ho whatever floats that boat of yours kitten.

We are in a mini league of 6 teams competing for 2 places in play offs, it’s still possible, it’s the hope that kills me !! Got to win on Saturday then beat Swansea because the 3 fixtures after that game are tough.

Players should take a fair portion of blame last night mind, they were awful to a man.

Honestly don’t think they needed to mark Clarke last night! He was terrible.

Having slept on it, I'm still frustrated that we where so passive. Didn't get on the front foot at all, too many players had off nights, the midfield 3 seemed to be swapping positions all night and not achieving much.

Bad bad day at the office all round

Maybe he had an off game because they did mark him with 3 players backing each other off. Mbappe couldn't do anything if that happened to him
