The momentum changed halfway through the first half, so unlikely to be tiredness. At halftime, I was confident we’d win. Just prior to Jaden’s brilliance, Liam had changed to all out attack and in the build up to the goal, Giles had smashed against the crossbar, so it was coming!
I have watched Philo’s goal numerous times trying to work out if it should have been an own goal, and only just realised it was with his right foot!!!! Ridiculous piece of skill. And I definitely need to pick up that prescription from the optician.
Any criticism of Ohio the other week was absolutely stupid I just sail past such comments as irrelevant. This poor bugger had only just arrived and came on late in the game. So I'm 100% with you on this. He took his goal last night really well. Plus it was the winner too. His minutes played v goals scored must be good.
Winning away even at Rotherham with respect will have done the side tons of confidence especially after the avalanche of criticism at the weekend. Tend to keep it real these days but the way I see it is our chances of going into the play offs are in our own hands still which is the way you’d want it. This is the time of year when your own fans can play a huge part in sucking that f’kin ball into the net for the cause but like ai say one game at a time right niw and see how things pan out come April. UTT.
Well done to him and will be massive for his confidence to get that first goal. On Saturday, he was awful though, it was a comedy cameo. No one was writing him off but we thought it was akin to a certain Billy Whitehurst’s debut. It is very rare we do criticise our own, but was certainly worthy of comment. Absolutely delighted we have seen the other side of his game now……onwards and upwards
When our chances are condensed into the highlights, it looks like an even better performance -- by us and by the Millers' wonder keeper.
Isn't it the absolute epitome of 'typical city' though to have an exiting transfer window signing new players, be in the play off places, then lose 0-1 at home to Swansea in front of an expectant home crowd, then, F'KIN THEN! go and score the 'Rabona@Rotherham' on the dark wet Tuesday night in South Yorkshire. UTT.
He did absolutely nothing on Saturday. Didn't even step onto the pitch (other than warm ups / warm downs)
I dont dislike Rotherham... I hope they hold out for a chuck of money for Johansson at the season and dont let him go cheap...
Ohio is offside there, by the time he’s onside and Jaden has set himself to play the ball the gap is gone
100%...I've had some cracking away days with City down the years. ...Always far better than at home. I got a request from HCAFC to fill in a survey about my home match experience (vs Swansea) I pointed out that the atmosphere at some games is poor, but of course its down to the team to create that atmosphere. Mentioned the use of a few flags in the crowd to create a vibe. Other than that I don't know. I know the idea of a drum is a strict no-no with a lot of fans and goal music always gets voted down.
Not too impressed at our place. Though he couldn't do much about the goals. PS....Listened to Blunderside. Alex Burgess on comm duties. That fella needs to calm down....Kept referring to Philogene as Jordan.
