I do not worship the British Army though, but I do respect them. I do not need to worship anyone, or thing. I hold myself responsible for anything that happens in my life, and will not allow myself to succumb to a religion that is at best trying to control you.
Not saying that at all, however have you read the link? where were the illegalities etc? I am curious as to the details you are obviously aware of, or are you?
I can't prove they were illegal wars, you can't prove they were legal. We're talking a millennium and a half ago. But you've still not explained why it's ok for Muhammad's army to kill innocents and invade other countries, but not Her Majesty's.
As for Abu Rafi, he was assassinated for mocking Muhammad with poetry (with Muhammad's permission, I hasten to add). A little harsh, don't you think? No better than IRA supporters being killed in Ireland.
I can't prove they were illegal wars, you can't prove they were legal. We're talking a millennium and a half ago. But you've still not explained why it's ok for Muhammad's army to kill innocents and invade other countries, but not Her Majesty's.
Thats a bit of a kop out imo. you have made an allegation now you need to back it up. It suggests you dont know Just read it of a site did you? I can give you the names of some of the innocents the BA have killed. can you name any?
you still havent explained what you know about abu rafi', so how can you compare? I think you have googled, read the first thing and posted. Hence the names of three statues. you should read the case of abu rafi or his real name which was Sallam Ibn Abu'l-Huqayq, might shed some light
Yet why do you keep saying the BRITISH ARMY as a whole are criminals? Itis not the the whole army, it's individuals in the army. As iv'e said before you can not tarnish the name of the many with the actions of the few. I agree there are some ****s in the BA as there is in all armys, but there are good people to.
I like TFWNN, but if he wants to watch some hillbilly`s in a state of the art killing machine,VERSUS a TOYOTA land cruiser with a flip flop wearing, insurgent with a hastily welded large cal M60 going head to head we can see some action...
Is everyone in the Army a hero? Of course not. Is everyone in the Army a murderer? Again, of course not. As someone posted before you can not tarnish the name of the many with the actions of the few. There are a few ****s everywhere and they will always do something that make the rest look bad. IMO not everyone in the Army is a Hero. Neither are they all Villains. Some are, some not.
Yes, I read a site. What have you read that is any better? The Qu'ran? The Hadith? Biased books written centuries ago? Why is that any more reliable? Or were you there? As for "you can't name names therefore your argument is in invalid." And you accuse me of copping-out I can't name any innocent victims of the Blitz. Or WW1. Or the Crimea. Or the Napoleonic Wars. Or in the Hundred Year War. Or during Rome's conquest etc etc. Does that mean that I'm not allowed to assume that there were civilian casualties? Even though to claim otherwise would be merging on insanity? You really have surpassed yourself in ****wittery there Fan. How did you find the names of those killed by the BA in Ireland anyway? Not off a website by any chance? That's not allowed, it needs to be on paper, preferably over a thousand years old What I know about Au Rafi is no less likely to be true than what you know Fan. In fact, it's pretty plausible really. He was a Jew who liked to mock Muhammad. Still would be hated today, in fact he'd probably have a fat'wa against him. Your sources are no more reliable than mine Fan. We're talking documents written 1300-1400 years ago. So to claim that certain ones are more reliable than others is very foolish. When I say there is no point in arguing Fan, I don't mean from my perspective. When debating about things I don't really care about, I have the capacity to allow my views to be influenced by those of others. For example, some of the things I've read about Ireland have caused me to rethink. However, this is impossible for you. Islam and the absolute trust in Muhammad is at the very core of your being, nothing anyone could say now would shake your beliefs. Even though those beliefs are based on books written by biased scholars a long, long time ago. Your zeal handicaps you Fan, as it does every other religious person. It makes you biased, irrational and incapable of listening to anything other than what they tell you in the mosque.
