Keep a 5 bar gate on how often he's actually caught out.

Let's see how shocking it turns out to be.

It could be a long (as in elapsed time) deep bow. There is no hyphen between long and bow in the O.E.D. entry for the weapon. Nor is there a space. You'd not be wise to draw an arrow on a longbow towards the head royal.

    You're overthinking it.

'Drawing a long bow' as an Aussie colloquialism is no less legit than the US 'hill to die on' or a UK 'brick ****house'.

    Fair play I say.

But it's only a matter of time before the kangaroo murderers run out of BBQ fuel and lager and collapse as a society anyway.

Then they'll all come over on student visas and take all our bar jobs, before buying all our campervans and 'off gridding' on the Cornish coast.

    Bunch of Crims.

Just gotta enjoy the nuance and creativity of our common language. Whilst they still haven't all been eaten by sharks or bitten by spiders. Or drowned surfing, like on home and away.

To be fair, I may be guilty of overthinking it.

Don't worry, no matter how much people try to, I'll never take words on a forum to heart. :)

Good, you've gone up in my estimation, admittedly from a low base, still ... :emoticon-0125-mmm:
