Needs to toughen up a bit then. Is he so naive that he truly believes he's exempt from any form of criticism?
Leicester had the highest wage bill of any club relegated from the PL. They were having problems with sailing close to the wind with FFP.
Right. Shows the investment they've put in which they're still benefitting from. No coincidence they'll probably break the points record and no one can get near them.
I said feel free to point out what id missed that was unreasonable, but you obviously can't because there isn't any.....nobody at all has said there hasn't been progress FFS!
Right, so then it comes down to opinion on what's deemed reasonable. You're entitled to yours, I'm entitled to think it's OTT and part of a long term narrative and often lacking justification. .
Ok for a third time.... What do you deem to be unreasonable about what I listed or what others have said?
Today, in relation to yesterday's **** show, nothing at all. Using an anomaly to justify a consistent narrative that he's a naive gobshite who doesn't know what he's doing, that no one wants to come and play for him and that it's **** or bust this season when the owner is publicly stating different however, is unreasonable and relies on a willful ignorance of both reality, and the tangible progress made.
Ok so you're not going to actually give anything of substance, you're just going to ramble.... Fair enough
If I could be botherd to go and pinpoint the instances you've called him naive, inexperienced, that he couldn't land players etc, placing your own expectation of success ahead of the owners, trying to talk up pressure - and generally trying to undermine his whole ethos then I would. But I think most people remember anyway, except yourself, obviously
I'm not just talking me, I said anyone..... I know exactly what I've said and will never hide from it, hence why everything I listed earlier today still stands and not one part of it is unreasonable. I think you'll find ( and most people will agree, I will give praise where it's due and deserved and I will criticise etc also when needed ) and just so we're crystal clear ( as this seems to be really difficult for you ) I have never said there isn't progress under LR. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't and couldn't be doing better. The same things that have been issues for a fair amount of time now are still issues and he/we don't seem to be able to sort it and unless he/we change them, I will continue to call them out. LR has rightly implemented his own style and way of doing things as every manager/coach should be able to do.... He will either live or die by it.
There's been a distinct absence of any praise whatsoever, and in the context of one of probably the 10 best seasons so far since 1904 that's unreasonable in my opinion. And if I think the sum of your posts on the subject are unbalanced or wilfully ignorant in the context of the season and stage in the clubs development then I'll continue to call that out. It's called debate.
One of the top 10 seasons in our history?! Bit of a stretch that. I know it’s opinions but the football we play is so tedious, not sure how this can be up with some of the best ever…
I see what you "put" OK. Ta very much. And it's not just what I think in isolation now is it. Even lambo commented on one of your transfer window posts which completely omitted any credit for Rosenior in attracting players this January, just pedalled a narrative that he's for the chop if we don't make top 6. Which is complete bollocks and the owner has said so all season, and again following Millwall. Top 8 and he'll be backed again.
He was outside the East Stand at around 2-50 pm yesterday surrounded by the usual hangers on, 'some' git shouted 'arselickers' at them, sometimes I just can't help myself. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
