Jesus and Tomiyasu are reportedly going to be back fit for this game. Not sure whether they'll be fit enough to start, but there's a high likelihood they're back in the squad. Meanwhile, Timber is close to returning to first-team training and Partey is too. Would be a huge boost to have all these players fit for the remaining games in the PL and CL.

Annoying that Liverpool and City both picked up wins. Can't be dropping points tomorrow.

I mean, they were playing Burnley and Everton as home games - did you really think either side were going to drop points in those matches? <laugh>.

Wtf?! No Jesus, Zinchenko, Tomiyasu or ESR? They are all made of glass <doh>. That bench is looking very weak…

Also, I think Arteta’s read this game wrong. If Zinchenko is out, Jorginho has to start. We have no-one who can probe and unsettle the West Ham defence. This is going to be a very difficult watch.

Look how much deeper Odegaard has to play when we have Havertz in the side! Our best creative player has to drop way too deep.

This system against a low block is BOLLOCKS. We look a poorer team whenever we play this way.

I think we should just play the system we used against Liverpool - we will still score goals and it's much more secure defensively.

    Saliba :emoticon-0167-beer:

The thing its when we play in this system most of our goals are coming from Set Pieces!

    3-0! Two assist for Rice.

Its weird though - feels like we out Moyes'd David Moyes.

    HT. 0-4.

Absolutely dominant performance. West Ham haven’t had a sniff. Counter pressed well, pinned them back, sustained pressure, won the ball high up the pitch, won all the second balls and have been utterly devastating in the final third.

Everyone has been on job this half.

This is more like it <ok>

We’ve combined the best of both worlds - been sublime from set-pieces, aerial duels, ground duels, interceptions and long switches of play.

But we’ve also been top class with sustained pressure, pressing high, nice intricate passing and rotations between the front line, triangles and silkiness.

A real joy to watch <ok> Let’s hope for more in the second half and not a repeat of Newcastle 2011 <laugh>

    5-0! Saka!

    An absolute rout.

Far too easy for Saka. Odegaard plays a basic pass into Saka, who jinks past a defender too easily and smashes it home for his 2nd.

West Ham look like they’ve given up entirely.

Odegaard has been absolutely phenomenal today. A complete performance from our midfield maestro.

Oof we were great in the 2nd half.

    Declan Rice and Odegaard dominated.

Well If im honest I don't really think we played well until we were 2-0 up. This system still feels less fluid.

But once WHU had to come at us they were mince meat. Odegaard and Rice had room to take them apart.
