Taa going off isn’t ideal with some big fixtures coming up.

Far more important things in life that Bradley needs to concentrate on but would be handy if he felt like he could come back and get involved again just to add some options if TAA needs a week to recover.

Gomez being inkwell hopefully means back in a week and Konate back from suspension so could always end up with Robbo vvd Konate Gomez.

Still surprised tsimikas hasn’t been given a go there. Has to be better option than jones?

not in real terms, not when it all levels out before we meet them.

they will be leading by a point when we meet. you can just about put your house on that given thr games they have

if we win everything we will be behind and have to win that game to be in the fight.

nobody had caught and passed city in a title race. Leicester won one when city were not even in it. we won it in a canter after laporte injury where they hadn't the cb cover.

when City hit the front they have not be caught under pep. we've chased them especially twice, they won both on the final day

arsenal were beaten by city and the second they got in front arsenal imploded.

we have to be in front after that game.

forget being in 2 points front having played a game more.

copenhagen (big win to make second league easy)
worst chelsea final in 10 years?
    Brentford
    Bournemouth
    Luton fa cup
    man utd At home
    Copenhagen second round

    then us.

    we play
    Brentford
    Luton
chelsea in the league Cup final
    Southampton fa cup
    forest

    then city.

you can put good.mpney on city winning those game even if on paper they are marginally harder.

our europa draw will be made and we have to play away prior to the city game as well

Not true. I’m sure when we won, when Chelsea won and when Leicester won at some point city were top of the table.

Not when we won, apart from on GD after the first game. We pulled ahead and they never got near us.
They were ahead of Leicester for sure - don't know about the Chelsea seasons.

pedantic and utterly ignoring the point.

the point is about city's clear and undeniable record in the league when hitting the front at this time of year under guardiola. Once in the lead they have not be caught and we are the only club to even get close and we couldn't do it twice.

Leicester = pelligrini's last season. they were 4th.

chelsea was guardiolas first season amd they finished 20 points off. that's no contest right there.

none of this invalidates the point. when City hit the front they have never been caught over the past years. we were within 3 on the last day twice, within 1 point in fact and both times city got the job done.

we need to be leading them. that's the core point and right now in real terms they will be ahead when the game in hand is washed out.

we need to beat them to get back in front.

Correct. We will have to beat them if we hope to win it. Will we beat them? If we get everyone back from injury and they have an off day, maybe. They have that ominous look about them and we have seen what happens when they get into their stride at this time of the season

yup, refs mysteriously help them each week.

teams stop even trying to get any result.

if we show the desire to go at sides we have the quality to win. this means far better press than yesterday and playing forward passes not just back and side as was evident first half

it's up to the players. second half they improved but it was hardly vintage.

another weeks break now to try and get fresher

    the positives out of yesterday

    1. kelleher did well and made zero errors even if he risked a lot holding the ball at his feet.

    2. Jones did well at rb.

    3. Elliott was positive coming on. more positive than a lot of his recent brief appearance.

    4. nunez was finally given a header and he showed what he can do aerially.

    5. Robertson looked more like himself and lasted most of the game.

    6. quansah did mostly alright as well aside from one silly slide.

    Crucial games in City season for us imo;
    10th March, Us at Anfield
    17th March, Away at Brighton
    31st March, Home against Arsenal
    20th April, Away at Spurs

The rest are games I'd expect City to win (of course they could slip in a routine game, but)

don't for get villa away late on., but the spurs game should be spurs at home?

there's 14 games left so we have to plan to win them all as city can certianly do it.

we have the hardest away games played. it's all about getting on a roll.

we have had the loss in the middle of a good run so now we need to go make this a new run.
