    Clueless. Unfit. Negative. Inept. Weak.Sluggish.

Much more of this at home & they’ll be playing to rows and rows of empty seats.

    Aaaaaaaaaaargh.

    So, so frustrating.

Opening half hour we looked really comfortable but still just lacking that final ball/shot.
Too many poor decisions (shooting when a pass would be better etc).

They then break away, 2v2 and Goutas lets himself get turned far too easily and thereafter we just totally lost any urgency or tempo...

I'll big up Preston's work rate and discipline as they worked really hard without the ball but by God we certainly gave them a helping hand with our sluggish play ..
Bowler just went completely off the boiler after a half decent start and poor old Etete was getting battered by the Preston defence.

We looked marginally more positive 2nd half once Rambo came on but it's definitely been a case of 1 step forward 1 step backwards again this week.

Enjoyed the first 25 but just endured a the last 65 - once they scored we looked clueless. No good Bulut throwing his baseball cap around in frustration on the touchline.

Easy to say the starting 11 was a bit odd given the options now available but that can be forgiven if the 11 sent out there did the business - they didn't and it was all uphill from there. City's game was a tepid affair that deserved nothing against a team that knew what they were doing.

Just looked at the other results and the best thing to come out of today was that Hull, Middlesbough and Watford all lost at home as well, whilst Ipswich, Brom and Norwich all dropped points.

Cold comfort but still only 7 points off the playoffs. <doh>

I assume you mean Bulut who has masterminded this tactic of playing 3 in midfield and sitting back in our half defending, leaving a lone striker with no service up front. Bulut has used this formation and tactic against Leeds, Leicester and Plymouth with the same result. I am happy for those who think Bulut is the best manager we have had you deserve this kind of performance.

you know what they say....better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid rather than open it and prove it.

I am far from convinced Bulut is the manager to take us forward.

PNE’s manager played a tactical blinder today. Tweaked it after City were well on top and albeit fortunate in the lead up to their opener, from then they were far superior and should have won by 3-4.

Maybe we’re seeing now why there’s an obvious reason why no Turkish manager has managed in this country until Bulut.

I can't think of anyone on here suggesting without reservation that Bulut is our man fi the future. From what I've seen, many contributors have just cut him a load of slack in light of what he's had to work with. That's far from suggesting what our stirring little nuisance has said in order to get a rise.
I think he's done ok in comparison with last season and along with a few others on here, I think that we'll learn more about him between now and the end of the season. Having his star player back along with a couple of new faces now puts him firmly under the spotlight.
Not sure about the Turkey thing. It could be argued that it would be unusual for an Australian to do well in the UK. There has to be a first for everything.
With regard to PNEs manager, Ryan Lowe has been there for close to three years now I think so I would expect him to know what what at the club.
If I'm not mistaken, I think for most of us the jury is out but we're not ready to give verdict until we have more evidence.
    We shall see.

I see a pattern here, lose 2-0 to Leicester, lose 3-0 to Leeds and lose 2-0 to Preston. You wanted Bulut you got Bulut so sit back and enjoy watching the team sit back as well. Having lost a player who can score we can`t win a game because we have no one to score when we need it. If there is very little attack the forwards have little or no chance to score. I knew after the game against Ipswich when we led 2-0 and he took Tanner off who scored and had the assist because he was not happy with his performance and you agree with that? Taking sides with Bulut you got what you wanted so put up with him.

You all wanted rid of Ugbo who has scored twice for Sheff so now put up with losing to zero in games and playing defensively. You got what you deserve. I said play one in midfield and 5 up front at least we would have to attack as the midfield have not stopped any attacks by the other side.In fact we may as well play 4 at the back and 6 up front, we cannot play any worse. How anyone can take so long to strt wondering whether Bulut knows what the hell he is doing I have no idea, I suppose understanding you need to attack and score goals is difficult to comprehended for a lot of people.

For crying out loud Ugbo was given two tap ins but only because of decent wing play. Warren Feeney, Niasse & the tea lady would have scored those. That does not make him what you suggest he is a decent striker. In the 60’s & 70’s maybe but in this era a striker has to press, work hard off the ball & not just goal hang.

Anyway, Ugbo has gone and Jck is a WUM with an extremely limited repertoire. So let's forget about them both and move on.

Our Jck is a one trick pony.....and he can't read, clearly! He pays no attention to what people write, spews bile and then jumps behind the ' stop attacking me personally and talk about football' line. I am more convinced he's Phil the Jack having a wum.
