I don’t genuinely think there’s a question about that this season. Mbappe has been average but will always have handsome stats, Jude has gone biggest club in the world and often been the teams orchestrator, in a squad with Modric, Kroos, Valverde, Vini Jr and Camavinga. It’s stunning what he’s doing he is beyond the real deal. Southgate play him LB or some ****.
He should be a number 10 for England with others doing the defensive work. He could be the best number 8 in the world too, but I'd much rather we use his ability n the final third, even if it means sacrificing other attacking players.

Yeah, has to be this for me, even if that means Grealish, Rashford, Maddison etc. miss out. I think a lot of England fans would move Bellingham further back to get another one of those players in. I think a functional player alongside Rice which allows Bellingham to do what he wants is more important than squeezing another attacker in.
100% mate. Play Trent with Rice if needs be, then a back 4. Would be almost impossible to cover us. Couldn’t double up. Couldn’t switch of even with DMs cos Trent’s passing is off the scale. Let the others worry about how they even begin to deal with that.
If he plays as the 10 I don’t think Foden gets on the pitch unfortunately so I’d probably go with him as the 8 and Foden as the 10. Rice DM, Kane 9, Saka RW and Grealish LW.
I get the viewpoint but what he’s done this season he has done as a 10, half our issue over the years is not maximising people’s positions. Scholes LM for example, why? I don’t see why you can’t swap Foden for Grealish in that setup and free Jude as a 10

They were brilliant and that could have been double that. They are beautiful to watch, they are just so fast and open and constantly looking to make things happen. Such an impressive and enjoyable team.
