Have to admit at half time I was a bit worried but second half was electric especially the first 20.

Onien really good again and can see how he keeps his place unluckily for seelt. Running out of words for Clarke but got to mention Dan neil, what a talent, what a performance, cdm for the rest of the season possibly?

Fair play to jobe too, agreed with him being dropped but that’s how you respond to it, excellent goal and should give him a shot of confidence, I’d still keep him on the bench for now though.

Finally, got to say I’m happy for Beale. Must of been a **** week for him and he deserved the 3 points. Hopefully today was a bit of a bridge between the fans and him and we hit that run of form we’ve been waiting for all season.

There’s a hell of a difference between a opinion and what he got threw at him, I hope all of them are bloody cringing in shame.

I thought Neil had a great game today and still think he is better playing the deeper role and allowing Ekwah further forward as he always seems to find space for forward passes, when he plays there we defend higher up the pitch and are more aggressive in the press.
That was the best we have played for a long time and is hopefully a small sign of things to come, shape looked good and pace of game was good even in first half thought we were the better side and they worked very hard to create their chances.
Their goal was a bit of a mess and early doors their full back was a pest and to be honest I thought Hume didn't have his best game today which is unusual for him but some of his passing was sloppy and he got caught out a fee times, but he was more adventurous going forward so maybe it is just that his role is changing a bit.

People can voice whatever opinions they want, no problem.

But when they have a pop at people who are optimistic, and say they're accepting mediocrity, part of the problem, toeing the party line, etc, they should be able to take it on the chin when it backfires on them. They can't expect to lash out at the 'rose tinted happy clappers' then say 'let's not fall out, we're all Sunderland together'.

I think they know that which is why they tend not to come on after a great result ...

... that's a real shame because we should all be celebrating together.

    Just my opinion.

Great second half and 3 very nice goals. Thought O'Nien and Neil were excellent. Great to see Rigg get a decent amount of minutes and Mundle. Rusyn worked his socks off as well.

Great from the fans for the 2 minutes of applause.

Yeah all that was out of order, what really baffled me was how vehemently against him people were when they didn't actually have a clue what they were talking about. I still don't know that much about him even now he's been boss for a while.

Feels like he's putting his stamp on the team now though. Good stuff.

It was nice to see Jobe dropped finally and then see him come on as a sub with fire in his belly and score a worldie.
Dropping players can be a big positive sometimes and a reality check for them. Hopefully he now knows hes not invincible and has to work to get on the pitch instead of just turning up

It was a stupid sucker punch of a goal to fall behind to, but they didn't panic, put a shift in, and got the result they deserved. Well done lads.

Think that's six 3-1 wins plus a 3-0 and a 5-0 so far this season, not bad for a team who don't have a recognised CF.
The way MB is setting us up I can see a few more. Happy days indeed.

I dont really get involved with all that mate, but what does pish me off about this place is when people have a go at other posters because they have an opinion that they dont agree with

I'd disagree about Ba. Put himself about, held up well against bigger players and did a decent job. I think, with the right coaching, him and Roberts could be similar to how amad and Robert played last season. Roberts needs someone to create space for him Ba could do that imo.

Jobe seemed to play more positively too when he came on, certainly less backwards passing

He looked too complacent in recent weeks and i hope today isnt the first time hes dropped for the good of the team aswell as for himself and his development

I couldn't agree more Tees, which is why I rarely do it.

I argue about their opinion, if I think it's wrong, but not them personally.

Anyway, match thread so I'll say no more except that the Mags have just gone 1-0 at Forest who seem hopeless.

Itd be a boring place if we all agreed mate. Some posters take it as a personal insult though if somebody says something they don't agree with though unfortunately

You're talking about it with one of the ringleaders Tees.

That's all I'll say because we'll derail the thread.
