Hopefully tomorrow will be the start of a new era. We keep hearing our players are good enough for a much higher league position and managers are to blame. Now we have a relatively decent one we'll see what they are made of. Reading are on a decent run of form, we're not. I hope we set out of the traps running and take the game to Reading. I'm going for a draw.
HUge fans' response to Nathan Jones, with extra tickets required for the travelling faithful; in fact we could have sold out double. Expect to see a ball of energy in the technical area instead of a gloomy statuesque figure with his hands in his pockets. If these two factors don't galvanise the team we're in trouble (OK I know we are already). Team selection should be interesting, as will the substitutes bench. If Jones is to play a diamond, his favoured formation, he'll have to leave out some of our army of midfielders. Shame he inherits Apples' squad which was built for 3-5-2/5-3-2.
I've just watched my other team win 1-0 after playing like a pub team for 45 minutes. That would do me again.

Down to 20th and the teams in 21st and 22nd both have two games in hand. We will not catch any of the teams above us (there is now a 3 point gap) so the only question is, are the four teams currently below us, worse than us ?
Then my 9/1 on relegation was a good bet. Wonder what the odds are now. Edit - 7/1 now. Still excellent value. Lump on and make yerselves some money.
