We give up a late goal and now we are in trouble as they will throw the kitchen sink at us.

That was a very unlucky goal to concede to be fair

Great result from the City… Brilliant first half, should have been 3 up..
Second half hung in there, with good saves from Max to give us the 3 points.. Lucky goal from Boro ending the game 2-1
Well done Liam and the team..

We definitely run out of steam but won it on guts.
    Great performance after Forest.

It's in the bag but my goodness did we make hard work of it towards the end. I fail to understand why we continually go into the defensive mode when we are leading because everything bad about that decision was on show late on in the game. We do not defend in numbers at all well and it is time to realize we need to rethink that process and find something more workable To all our travelling supporters please have a safe trip home and I hope the fog isn't too bad. Yeh City.

    Very well done lads but
    The usual City
Unexpected win, but we are still so inconsistent
If Manning can add consistency then we might be a force next season
Get your hand in your pocket Lansdown and buy quality where it’s needed to give the manager a chance

    Inver, that is harsh.
We didn't go back and defend by design.
I noticed a change in our energy after 30 minutes, I commented at half time we needed a 2nd wind.
I'm really pleased tonight - we got by on fumes and guts.

ps The best performance I've seen from Max.

I agree, thought in the end it was a gutsy 2nd half performance.. Maybe our subs changed the flow of our game but good to see Liam spreading gameplay across our squad..
Max had an excellent game, only a lucky deflection got past him..
I was shocked by Harry’s performance in first half, didn’t think he had it in him!!

The two CB’s played 120 minutes only three days ago. A few of the others were probably knackered as well. We done really well to get through this one with taking 6 points off Boro this season.
Now we’ve got two more games in 7 days.
    Well done City.

Maybe harsh but the point I was making was that we don't do well when our backs are against the wall but this time it was down to slight changes made by Middlesbrough. After watching so many games and having seen this problem continually I wonder why we haven't found a solution to our propensity to fall back deep into our penalty area as our record is not too good in that department. Max has long been the target of my criticism but today he performed very well and probably kept us in the game. :emoticon-0137-clapp

Also our performance today showed the ability to put out a strong effort after a lengthy gutsy outing at Forest. :emoticon-0100-smile

Zak and Rob are some pairing at the heart of our defence. Atkinson and Naismith will find it hard to break that partnership, it’s been excellent this season. Would be nice to have them, along with Sykes back though. Then our bench will be stronger.

very good result, not so long ago we would have wasted a 2-0 lead when under pressure, there is a light in the tunnel and for once i dont think its a train,

Barely had celebrations died down when Matty Jones pinched the ball after good work from Taylor Gardner-Hickman and deceived Glover with a smart finish off the post.
Great reporting by the BBC website who's Matty Jones

About as good as they are for their take on the Israel and Hamas dispute and their bewildering support of Lineker
    A national disgrace
