Well done the Blues, that was my thought as well when it went to 3-2 here we go 90th minute winner, also according to BBC Sport Peterborough had 68% possession. Dare we think Bloomfield & the players have finally sorted out how they are meant to be playing
Looks like we had a good line up and good back up. And managed to back it up with a performance I think at half time Posh had managed only 1 shot, which was off target. Considering they are the highest scorers in the league, that's a pretty solid performance by the Blues. Also impressed that they didn't capitulate when Posh pulled 2 back in a 3 minute spell
and sorted out the players he wants. If only we could keep hold of some of these loan players and get some of the contracts extended for next season
Firstly we are really starting to tick with players coming into form KVY was outstanding along with Kieran Sadlier on the left while not far behind we had Jack Grimmer doing what he does hopefully he was taken off as a precaution all the new additions looked very good and the biggest compliment I can give Matt Bucher was that we didn't miss Josh Scowen he wasn't everywhere like Josh but he was always in the right place. Now on to Tuesday and our trip to Greater Manchester to take on the Trotters at the Reebok who are sitting 3rd in the table but have drew their last two we have played them seven times and there has yet to be a draw but we have won five. Matty is likely to make a couple of changes to keep things fresh but hopefully not to many as I think he has finally found a formula. I am away at the moment but I will try and take a keen interest in the game maybe listen to the second half and hopefully we will build on our last few results and continue to climb the table
I'd be more than happy to grab a point against the team who will be League champions but i can't see it happening, just as long as our goal difference doesn't take a battering i'll be happy.
No Grimmer, no Vincent Young, McCleary and Kone on the bench In come Leahy, Campbell, McCarthy and Lubala.
Tonight’s team news at Bolton! Four changes for Wycombe. Starting: Stryjek, Tafazolli, Butcher, Leahy, Campbell, Low, Potts, Taylor, Sadlier, McCarthy, Lubala. Subs: Ravazolli, Wheeler, Vokes, McCleary, Earley, Lonwijk, Kone.
Another goal after 90mins conceeded even though we got a penalty in the 98min I don't think it made a lot of difference, when you think they scored four against at home. I totally agree with Mowgli comments. I know not everybody agrees, but Saturdays home game & next Tuesday away at Bradford are far more important for us.
Just watched the short highlights & we certainly had the chances to get at least a draw, it's nearly all Wycombe
