RM has his work cut out to turn this around. I think the only player playing close to his normal level is KWP. The rest are nowhere. A lot of credit needs to go to Huddersfield for coming to SMS and knocking us right out of our stride with their press AND physicality. We need to step up by about 2 paces if we want to start controlling the ball and the game.
Well the positive is that my Leeds mates have all perked up. That’s them definitely finishing second now apparently
Right now a draw will be an incredible result. Will feel like a win. But, I can't see it happening. Just a bad day for us. Take it on the chin and move on.
Boos at half time Not really been at it at all. Hudders well worth their lead. They pressed us early which caught us by surprise I think and then once they dropped back we struggled to create anything. THB got pulled out far too easily for their second imo. Still all to play for though. Must surely be better in the second half and if we get one back early on then it's game on.
I’m still maintaining hope. We were crap first half against Watford too. Scored three in the second half. Would take a point now though.
Other takes - This shows how big Downes is for us and I seriously hope he isn’t out for long based on the difference his absence has made. - I think we need to be more direct second half, when KWP ran at them they stood off him. Passing game isn’t working. Question is are we flexible enough to try it.
Couldn't see our handball shout as other end but they defo should have had a pen just before their first. Ref been poor but not for any particular team I don't think.
