Week 21 saw us sneak a late equaliser at home to Huddersfield and the 1-1 outcome was correctly predicted by Finglas, MickMack and UTRs. Finglas and MickMack were also joint top scorers with 16 points. Steels has opened up an 18-point gap at the top of the table. Thank you Stroller for your dedicated efforts in tabulating everything Well done Finglas! Compared to yourself I have always been far too optimistic with our results, and you have generally been far more sensible with your predictions! Given my current standing, I feel akin to us, close to the relegation zone, although I believe Week 22 may be better for me. Finglas, in the not too distant future when Wendy joins me for a match at HQ, hopefully with yourself present and mandatory pre-match Crown & Sceptre and post-match Coningham Arms celebrations (after an R's win?). I remember Nov 20th, 2013 when I joined you for our 1-0 Charlie Austin goal inspired victory over Charlton Athletic, you told me that up to then the R's had won every game you attended that year. Can you perhaps make that stroke of good luck happen again when we visit HQ?
Cheers Strolls. A shocking week for me and good week for others around me. Hoping for a better week thus week as I sacked myself and reappointed myself - so hoping for a new manager bounce. Mind you, could be worse, there was one guy who once led this and now is right out of it and hunting a Turkish ice cream van. Silver lining …
SW, Who could that be praytell? Could it be that learned chap from the land of the silver cloud? Just asking for a friend…….
