That keeps the game flowing. Sin bins, blueys VAR just slow the game down, this is NOT rugby or cricket. As for dissent, just dish out yellow cards for surrounding the ref, that is what the card is for.
The sin bin for dissent is already in use for junior football over here and the referees that use it have far better control of the game. The ones that don't and they are also the ones that generally keep their cards in their pocket usually end up with a chaotic game. Then when the scrapping starts the red/yellow cards come out but it's always way too late. We definitely need to think about the grassroots as well as the professional game.
Except it killed Wilko football, the demise of the backpass was the end for Lukic, Fairclough and Chris Whyte.
It was indeed and I'm also reminded of Des Walker...50 caps for England but turned to absloute crap once he had to start trying to play football. Also it seems everyone has forgotten about the recent rule change that's made a massive difference and the reason it's a really good one is because you don't have to use it.
Yes, but those changes were for the betterment of the football and make it more exciting to watch for the fans, not to make the ref more important. Whatever happened to the adage that the best refs go unnoticed. Now they seem centre stage and it’s putting watching a game off for me.
