Will be interesting to see what punishment Forest get. If it is relatively minor (say 4 points or fewer deducted) folks will say dropping trousers and bending over does reduce the pain. If they get walloped with a 10 point deduction like Everton, it will only show that contrition counts for nothing.

I wonder if the BLUE CARD system will be trialed in Leagues One and Two. Personally I don't think it will work well. OK if one player is sin-binned for 10 minutes. But if two or three end up off the pitch, maybe for both sides all at the same time, there will be chaos. With players coming back on at different times and gaffers & refs having to remember how long each sidelined player still has to serve, the shape of a match could disintegrate. And a team down to nine men or even eight isn't going to carry on playing football. They're just going to go into siege mode.
