    This.

No point negotiating because it's just too hard. Just arm everyone with bombs of peace and let them kill each other, far easier.

Btw every conflict the U.S. stokes is for its own political aims, nothing else.

At worst Biden is a warmonger, at best he's a fcking pussy.

Putin will not negotiate a peace that does not include Russia keeping Crimea, Donbass & Luhansk, and he's made that perfectly clear to everyone.
    Except you 2 it seems.

I mean, aside from the fact that the non-English side of my family are mostly in Hungary/Romania/Former East Germany and so I have family members who are on the doorstep who I wouldn't want to get caught up in it.... but yes, I'd be much more comfortable the war being fought in Ukraine than in the US or England and that's the point. The idea is to stop Putin's Westward march before we escalate to a situation where bombs are falling on London... Liverpool... Manchester (ok they can fall there :bandit:)... Charlotte... Atlanta.

The easier it is for Putin to gobble up Eastern Europe again, the more he will be encouraged to do so, and the more likely we are to enter a direct conflict with him.

I don't believe one person on the Prem board would go fight for Ukraine if asked to, they are either too old, have a medical reason not to, or would suddenly think oh shhite. It's easy playing at war games behind a computer. When people harp on about 'the war' it makes me cringe, it's easy reading books and saying we should do this because de Germans. Milk loves encouraging it from the Carolina's and with his favourite Cabbage Biden. It would be like Pinkie commanding the raids from his rock bunker in Cornwall.

And you talk ****, use straw man arguments and then contradict yourself because you clearly don't know what the **** you're talking about.

Everyone postures.. You don't know until you try mate.

The U.S./NATO has certain red lines too and maybe we should look at compromise on both sides eh?

It's all very well lambasting the idea of stopping the war, but what's your practical alternative that means Ukraine gets to keep all of those?

You think continuing the war indefinitely is the answer lol.

Nope, you talk shhite, you might want to keep playing your war games little Ern but the closest you'll ever come to fighting, is scratching your pushbike down the neighbours car, because that's the sort of pussy you are. In real wars, not behind a keyboard, real people have to fight and die, not get all shouty on the internet, just because someones points out you chat absolute bolloxs. Stick to games fella, it's all you're good at.

I posted this before. The only time I would pick up arms and readily do so is if we were being invaded.

We should stay the fck out of other people's mess. That includes arming countries as well. Most times we try to play world police we make the situation worse and set the world on fire.

Btw both of those scenarios above aren't needed because we're not in 1930's Europe anymore. The world and the way war is fought, has changed.

The likes of Sucky have already made it very clear they won't fight, so I'm beginning to wonder where all these bravehearts are going to come from, but strawman or something, something.

I can appreciate the courage of Ukrainians currently fighting to defend their homeland, but I've also read some 20-25,000 men have escaped Ukraine to avoid conscription. In the UK I reckon you could multiply that by about 100. They'd be catching the dinghies at Dover to go the other way <laugh>

ooh little ern, that's powerful stuff, almost as hard hitting as some of Fosse's insults.
And where have you pointed out I've chatted bollox,?I think you'll find it's the other way around, you've done nothing but talk utter crap about the Ukraine war.

yeah, you stay out of everyone else's mess, until it ends up on your doorstep and you find that all your allies are gone.
    Great plan.

I read a story yesterday of a refugee trying to escape the UK, he's currently sleeping underneath an upturned boat on the beach at Dover. or so the story says.

but you're not the one stopping Putin, it's Ukranians lives at stake, I don't see you rushing out there to help. This aint a game, it's real life, just because you are some whizz kid on a game controller, don't make you brave enough to sacrifice your life. So it's all bolloxs by you, I'm pointing out the bloodshed that's been and is still being caused, while no risk to your life. As for the name calling, it's something you do all the time like a child. Why you always so angry, go fight in Ukraine and let some steam off, but you won't because in real life you are an angry little pussy.

I'm afraid your point is irrelevant, I think most people would rather a war fought away from them than in their own backyards. "Happy" to sacrifice Ukranians, not at all, but absolutely, I would prefer a small localized war than a world war and us continue to fund them is what the Ukranians want, so its not like there is some selfish or perverse desire from me to see Ukranians and Russians killing each other. No one WANTS there to be a war in Ukraine (well besides News outlets), I think most sane people would be happy if it ended. It just can't end by just giving Putin what he wants- or the war will start again in Moldova, or North Eastern Europe, and this time, it might include bombs dropping on England too.

Sign up for the forces if you really think it's that important, show your commitment to the forces you probably wont even have to put your life on the line doing it. Words behind keyboards are easy in bloodshed, true men don't chat, they get off their arse and do - like the British aid workers that gave their lives.

Here yer go lads, sign yourselves up... https://www.army.mod.uk/who-we-are/the-army-reserve/

Plenty of other opportunity in the forces if you don't fancy that. Maybe go work for a charity in Ukraine, actions before words. If you do it I will concede the argument. :bandit:

It never ends up on our doorstep. <doh>

That's the line trotted out to the gullible so they go full on board with the war mongering.

This aint 1930's Europe mate the world's moved on.

The irony is it ends up on our doorstep in other guises when we DO get involved.

Anyway answer the question General Patton, what's your plan for Ukraine keeping Crimea, the Donbass, and Lukansk?
