Can somebody explain what all this ****e is about and whether it's more tinkering with the beautiful game that will **** it up like VAR or whether it will actually improve the game.

It doesn't need a thread that's for sure. Another nail in the coffin of football.

    What like Ice Hockey?

What next? We are losing the midfield battle let's swap our offensive line with the defensive line, everyone comes on at once?

    They're killing the game.

This won't work because footballs culture is all about whining, bitching and crying.

Players will storm the refs and en masse complain about a sin bin, prolonging the games.

Personally I'd like to see a reduction in the rules

I.e. you're allowed to kick players you don't like
Fat ginger kid always goes in goal
    Next goal wins
and whoever owns the ball can decide when the game ends

    Waste of time.

If it's got 'cynical fouls' then it's just yet another later of subjectivity added to the game.

If it's for dissent then it's pointless as there's already rules in place for that the refs just choose not to enforce them.

Prepare for loads of time wasting during these ten minute periods.

I think ultra cynical fouls, like the Chellini one on Saka in the World cup should be a straight red. No intention to play the ball whatsover and deliberately preventing a passage of play that could lead to a goal. Just send the man off.

We need to learn to let the ref decide and respect their judegment

Then hurl abuse and call him a ****er when it happens to our team

All part of the natural order of the game <ok>

I'm not totally against sin bins, which is contrary to most players and fans - I just feel the rule behind them will be for the wrong reasons. Also two blues equal a sending off, but we already have yellows for that.

For me I'd like to sin bins for crocodile rolls, if you're dead you're dead, you don't need to roll six times to tell us you're dead.

I'd also like to see them used for any Arsenal player that dives in the box IF a penalty wasn't awarded, so sorry lad I'm not giving a penalty but because VAR wasted time looking at it you can go off for 10 mins, and all the wasted time will be added back on, unless Arsenal are losing then any added time is cancelled.

And where's the voting option for on yer bike Pinkie!?

    proper footy init

    jumpers for goalposts ****

if it went over the jumpers/school bags then a big time mass argument would ensue

    them were the days

it usually took the **** who owned the ball to threaten to go home if we don’t agree with him

    problem solved

these refs nowadays could learn a thing or two tbh

    Yeah loved **** like that.

    "That was post"

"Nah was post and in mate"

    "Penalty for it?"

    The good old days.

Also loved it when the score was something like 16-11 but you play next goal wins.

Reached that usually when it was so dark you couldn't see the ball.
