We didn't look flat against either Villa or Luton. We scored 7 goals. Our problem, at least on Saturday, was a lack of shape and discipline in midfield, which was leaving us open to fast breaks, which our defence is not equipped to deal with. Trouble is if we sort out the shape in midfield, and protect the defence a bit more, it will probably make us less likely to score.
Finding the right balance seems to be the issue. Against Luton at 3-2 we went all out attack which left us terribly exposed. We just need a performance similar to the Villa away game.
On a firestick? Dunno probably go to the pirate sites. Virgin Media did a package where I got all Sky and TNT sports along with TV and internet, so I went for that, as it actually worked out less than watch I was paying for TV and internet before and I got the sports as well
I’m off to this one. Have put a £20 bet on Forest to win, my weekly insurance bet. Burn can’t start, but as Munse said he will. Eddie can’t see what’s staring him right in the face. Dubravka - Trippier - Schar - Botman - Livramento - Bruno - Miley Longstaff - Barnes - Wilson - Almiron for me. Gordon needs a break, bring him up on around 60 mins. Also gives Barnes some match fitness.
Well bizarrely we're in good form for no apparent reason, but this could go either way. Our midfield is still suspect as feck, and until the illusive Willock returns that won't change. We're favourites, but I don't think we really justify that.
Forest had the perfect game plan at St James Park and both managers will set up exactly the same way. I personally believe we're entering the last few months of Howes reign.... only time will tell, but results have been appalling for months and regardless of last season any manager at this level needs results.
If Burn hadn't have started, we probably would have won the game. We really do miss Joelinton in midfield though, we lack that defensive type of midfielder. I hope Willock is back soon. As much as I love Miley, off the ball he's not much use.
