If Vale win that game, or win their game this coming weekend, and if Reading beat us by three clear goals Charlton will be in the bottom four by full time next Saturday. Unlikely? Maybe. But this whole scenario would have been laughed at only a couple of months ago.

I think 20th place is the only target now. I've lost interest in what the teams above us are doing. Even mid-table is now country miles away. 21st and relegation is going to be Charlton, Port Vale or Reading. Even with the dead cat bounce of a couple of wins from Jones.
