I'd be shocked if you couldn't. Might be an increase on price though

    I’d go with:
    Lumley
    Brie Bednarek Stephens Meghoma
    Charles
    Stuey Smallbone Dibling
    Mara

Stuey and Smallbone for first team continuity, everyone else can rest.

Do we have a youth CB? Have we ever produced an academy CB?!

I’d like to see Sam Amo given some minutes in this because he isn’t likely to get too many in the league with Adarma and Brooks ahead of him for the right side slot.
Would like the win just so we can see how our style of football would work against Liverpool.
If nothing else it would give RM a heads up on how effective his style would be, at a higher level.

I think SAA should start. He played well in the last leg, and Dibling might benefit from coming on later too.

    Stephens I expect

    perhaps :

    Lumley

    Stephens, Charles, THB, Meghoma

    Rothwell, Smallbone, Dibling,

    SAA, Mara, Edozie

Maybe any one of the three midfielders listed or Charles swapped for Bednarek and keeping the CB partnership the same

I once has an argument with my Sunday league manager for moving me to right back after I had been playing well at CM all season. I actually enjoyed it though. A lot less work!

I once hit my best ever shot as a right back, Sunday league.
I was outside the penalty area for a corner and I met a clearance on the half volley, with the outside of my left foot (my wrong’un) and hit the inside of the far post with the ball going across goal and not in.
Gutted not to score but chuffed that two brothers saw it and were as shocked as I was at the effort.
So, I am available if a flight can be arranged.

I feel worried that anecdotes are creeping into this thread. That is my secret league tactic. The cup games are more for artistic free-expression.

Only counts as a haiku if you pronounce February with 4 syllables, but a strong effort!

You would be surprised at how it gets mangled in darkest Somerset! Usually Feb’ry. As for Bristol, you’re lucky to get 2 syllables.

I love how your career sounds almost identical to Cuco Martina’s.
