Or Mundle of course. When I said different personnel I partly meant him but haven’t seen enough to judge properly.
Rusyn needs a decent run in the side now. Always looks decent and hard working but looked excellent today in the brief time he was on the pitch. Night and day between him and Burstow who occupies no ****er!
Really good we start to play with high press and intensity. Most of the second half yday passed us by and wasn't at the level required. Final 10 we switched up a gear. That needs to be the bar for games moving forward.
Rusyn made a huge difference in that. As soon as he come on he was on defenders, they suddenly didn't have all the time in the world! That caused panic with them and the rest of our players seemed to increase their workrate from it!
Hopefully it does. Styles has a lot of energy in his game, Jobe is just too passive at the moment imo. Did well for Bas missed sitter though tbf.
By all accounts Beale has been talking about him as a left back or wing back. That's where he sees him rather than in middle
I think he will be used CM to begin with but might play the odd game at LB Speakman said he can play cm lb n lwb. We dont have the CM options at the minute so can only see him playing there unless inuries at fullback
Dunno about anyone else but I can't remember a time when we had so many versatile players including kids who haven't found their preferred position yet. Perhaps that's creating as many problems as it solves. Patterson, Ballard and Clarke apart we could've moved each player a notch yesterday and still had a decent team. Hjelde was more dynamic than either Jobe or Ekwah and Styles will be wanting a place. Seelt could play further forward or take the right defensive side leaving Hume to take Ba's current spot or CDM. Mundle and Pembele might have other ideas
