must win due to nature of the game against relegation fodder at home. ideal for a rest for konate. and some others.
Typically, there are 12 federal holidays a year (I don't get any of those because I work in a hospital, even though I'm not clinical). Think of those as bank holidays in UK. Then standard most places give 2 weeks (10 days) Paid days off a year for vacations. And up to one week off a year for being sick (5 days)... If you're sick more than 5 days you don't get paid... Or you need disability insurance. Being a little weird and a hospital and we never close... They just give us a lump Paid Time Off to use as we see fit. Started at 3 weeks a year (which was pretty bad considering I didn't get any bank holidays and if I was sick it came out of same bucket)... But I've now worked my way up to 5 weeks a year because I've stayed in same job so long.(that's the max I'll get)... Really those five weeks are all holiday for me because, now I can work from home, as long as I can sit up when I'm sick I just work from home so it doesn't eat into my vacation time.
Hear so many stories of people in America just never taking holiday as seen as not being productive and career driven and has a detrimental impact on any career progression with people being looked down upon for it. Get the feeling Americans on the whole live to work rather than work to live.
Many do. My brother works at Microsoft, they actually have unlimited holidays now, a couple of places have implemented that. Most of their employees won't take any holiday now because they're scared it will look bad.
Weird results in Asia cup. You’d expect Australia Japan and South Korea to be 3 favs and none made it to final. Korea losing to Jordan in semi’s and Japan lost to Iran in quarters.
REFEREE IS TIM ROBINSON please log in to view this image Robinson has, however, been in charge of Liverpool before. He was the referee in two of the League Cup games, first against Leicester, which ended in a 3-1 win, and West Ham (5-1). Eddie Smart and Nick Greenhalgh are his assistants on the touchline while Tom Bramall is fourth official, and the lead VAR operator is Stuart Attwell, supported by Marc Perry. Robinson was one of the two officials promoted from the Football League over the summer and has so far awarded five penalties this season and averages four yellow cards per game.
it's in Qatar. the only shcok is Qatar are not winning it. the rest of Asia shouldn't have bothered to turn up.
CHRIS SUTTON'S PREDICTION......HOME WIN. Liverpool v Burnley I was surprised by how poor Liverpool were against Arsenal, because I'd covered their game against Chelsea a few days earlier when they were absolutely flying. Reds midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai is out for a month, which is a blow for Jurgen Klopp's side but, even so, I still cannot make a case for a Burnley win - I've thought they were going to be relegated for a long time. Liverpool cannot afford to slip up, and I don't think they will. They know what is at stake with Jurgen Klopp leaving at the end of the season. I don't know if Darwin Nunez will be fit enough to start but even if he isn't I am expecting Liverpool to overwhelm Burnley. Goalkeeper James Trafford did really well to keep the Clarets in the game at Turf Moor in December but Liverpool should wrap up the points a lot earlier, and much easier, this time. Sutton's prediction: 4-0 Stephen's prediction: I am a big fan of Vincent Kompany but this is a tough game for his Burnley side. I felt after watching Liverpool against Chelsea that Nunez is about to catch fire. They made some defensive mistakes against Arsenal but when their forward players are on form, it's hard to stop them. 3-0
I think we were all surprised at how poor Liverpool were against Arsenal. Really need to do the business against Burnley
