Fair point but doesn't excuse the game time Jobe is getting. Neil didn't get that.

He did until AN pretty much sat him on the bench for the last third of the promotion season.

100%. Rusyn reminds me a bit of Tevez - scrappy and puts defenders under pressure

As many have said, the midfield needs sorting out. Hopefully Styles will have a bgi impact there, really looking forward to seeing him.

Rusyn needs to start over Burstow, he completely changed the game. Even forgetting the goal, the sheer effort he put in was night and day compared to Burstow, gave Boro something to think about and the dynamic completely changed.

I know it's been done to death, but its ****ing criminal they way we (Madrox) sold the family silver to pay the electricity bill.

    Aye. That's important.

Burstow clearly has ability, but he has no presence or physicality. He lacks a little heart too. Rusyn is hard as **** and will scrap for us

A lot of people are asking for us to be more aggressive , I would say that is more about a lack of intensity . Sometimes we surrender possession far to easily and we appear to accept the situation rather than chasing to try and get the ball back - bottom line is that particularly the midfield have to work harder .

    Mumba?

Aye. That one pissed me off. My mate is involved at South Shields and said he was blown away when he saw him in training the 1st time. I really think that kid has something

Jobe, Neil, Ekwah, Ba all were out worked and hustled today. The midfield block was disjointed not sure why but was also undone by them wanting it more. They burned themselves out a bit mind but no excuse for losing so many 50/50’s and taking one touch too many.

I have a feeling the lads who left for Liverpool and United went for money and development.

The club under Reid and Madrox had no intention of developing youth.
