There will be a lot of glum faces in Hull pubs. Which is great. Which of our resident experts on here said possession should lead to more chances which will lead to more goals? Not the most important stat according to some. I have always said the only stat that matters is BINs.
****ing great Liverpool we’re ****e And one genuine arsenal fan from north London giving them fuxking loads in pub
I’ve got time for people who live and work in Hull but are actually from the place whose team they support. It’s a bias I have but I take their opinion on football more seriously. People who were born and raised in Hull but support Leeds, Liverpool and Man Utd can get to ****. Plastics.
Agree when it comes to domestic support, begs belief that people are so desperate to support a 'winning' team that they follow a club halfway across the country rather than the one on their doorstep.
Foreigners it's a little different. I know an American who supports Fulham as his English team and Sporting Kansas City as his local team. But if you support a club from another city in the same country, you're a drip no matter what.
Live and let live. We support Hull City because our parents ****ed in the postal code region of the club - it doesn't make us any more superior than someone who follows the club because they like big cats.
Bloody does. For a start when you support a big club from another area and belittle your hometown club you are not only a twat but you will never know that feeling when a big moment finally arrives. Bollocks to them.
**** the so called big clubs, there's only one Club that counts, your home City Club. The rest are just background noise.
City are a big club - had huge success over the last twenty years, a multi million pound operation in one of the most watched leagues in the world, on TV globally and regularly get over 20,000 supporters at the ground - we're not supporting an obscure, niche team in need of help.
You don't have to explain that to me, we were a big Club when we was getting 3000 in the fourth division. Oh yea, I didn't say we weren't a big Club.
Always nice to see a string of people line up to tell me I’m a ****ter Hull City supporter than them. Absolutely charming.
I understand your point, rover, but this hierarchy of support is in our heads.. it doesn't really exist outside. The club is owned and funded by a Turkish multimillionaire with zero connection to the city before he bought the club. The world is **** and unhappy enough, if someone gets happiness from supporting Hull City and watching Championship football instead of Goole Town or Bridlington, then good for them.
Aren't you missing the key point of this debate ...... "when you support a big club from another area and belittle your hometown club you are (not only) a twat"
