Ignoring your first that was havertz passing it to Saka via Alison’s chest? Can say every goal was a **** up. But you’ll see goals like those every other week. Won’t see vvd and Ali doing that again Like I said, game was evenly poised then vvd and Ali **** it up and sudenly were chasing the game, sub gets made the Taylor ends the game with a red. Nothing to be concerned about from our side. One bad game which could have easily finished a draw
Not at all. You played far better in the first half and should have been a few up if you didn’t have the worse of all cheksea rejects up front for you. But celebrating like you’ve won the league when still 2 points behind isn’t the sign of champs. That should be boom, good win 3 more points. Let’s focus on catching up and overtaking. Sign of champs is to grind out win after win like city do and like we did when we won the title, not get overly carried away when you win 1 game
Surely you must realise by now that the whole "you celebrated like you won the league" argument is about the most sour grapey and funniest thing to read?
6 big chances? I remember the 2 open goals and your lb with a free header 6 yards out. Other than that Ali barely had to do anything.
seriously bad day at the office and we never looked at it . My worries when i saw the team sheet came true Please can we not play Trent at RB as we do actually need someone in that side of the pitch
Nah, panic setting in there. It's Gooners away one that you can lose if not on to form. Forget it move on.
I think most posts on here agree Liverpool did not deserve anything out of this game . It was a bad day for us, we move on. City will win the league, end of.
If that was Sunday league, you'd assume the players had been in the dog and duck until 2am, tipped upto play still half pissed. A collectively poor performance from everyone. With maybe the exeption of konate and macallister who where hung out to dry by the **** show around them. Amusing by the end, but I'll agree seeing arteta sprint off like the 3rd had gone in, in the champions league final or the players celebrating like the league was won, is fairly funny also.
It was 3 huge points in a game we needed to win against a domestic rival. Why shouldn't we celebrate? Liverpool have done the same in other big games against rival sides. I've seen your crowd and players got ballistic too. You seem like a sound bloke, but this is coming across as a bit bitter.
More if not all on the commentators than arsenal anyway. Commentators giving it like this is the greatest result in the history of football
I don't disagree with any of that. My issue is with people trying to police how we celebrate wins in big matches.
You deserved to win today, we weren’t good enough. City are still favourites and it highlighted that you need a clinical striker as Havertz isn’t the answer.
Not saying not to celebrate. Like I say it’s more the media narrative and maybe that’s them trying to create interest in making it a 3 team title race when in reality it’s always been citys to lose as have the squad especislly now kdb and Haaland are fit.
Eh? No one is trying to police it. In his opinion he says it's over top. I think you're being a bit sensitive.
Not really. Saying we've celebrated this game like we've won the title (when no-one has said that) and saying it's excessive is trying to police how we display our happiness of winning a huge game.
just one game too far for the period. thsts all. we need the one game a week rest of thr next couple just to recharge.
Like I said, all I want to see is us have a competitive side and to not fold in big games like we used to early in Arteta's tenure/toward the end of Wenger's time. So far, we have that. The title is very unlikely to come our way, but I can have some belief in Arsenal for now.
