Should really not have long to wait, Jobes place must be up for grabs if performances are anything to go by , but it would be a real shock if he was rested tbh.
I think progress on formulating our best starting eleven is like our substitutions, too slow, we will have to wait and see

He will walk in imo, hes better than jobe n ekwah. They both have higher upside but hes more consistent n think he will help neil in there

Is Styles carrying a knock? I don’t remember reading about it when he signed.

Sounds good to me, we are far too open with the three we played today, it would be fine if we had three match winners up front , but we don't , all in all that wasn't a bad result to day, so we move on. <ok>

Still think CDM is an issue for us and would like to see seelt next to Ballard with onien just in front with Neil/Ekwah running off.

Next 4 games are games we really should be looking at winning so should be okay with Neil in cdm. Rusyn for burstow and AA for jobe, okay with the rest of the team. Can’t see jobe being dropped like

I am with you on that. When Ekwah is dominating he is a fine player and better than Styles, but at the moment he still has times when he is too easy to play against. Styles is no shrinking violet and will be at it all the time. I think he gets in ahead of Jobe and Ekwah will be released a bit more for me. I think our fans are going to love Styles - a real scrapper but when on the ball is really good to watch. That left foot of his to Clarke and Hjelde will really see our play speed up another fraction in my opinion.

just seen that rusyn has play 475 minuts in the championship this season that works out 5 games
so that's 2 goals and assist in that game time

For me he needs to start, he has more movement and tenacity than Burstow and looks a pretty decent footballer.

Think it was the tactics, they were often pressing the fullbacks as the wingers came narrow which then left huge spaces inside

We def need someone else that can win tackles like neil does n styles does that for sure

Beale looks to have worked out Rusyn didn’t like playing with his back to the goal and is much better running on to the ball. Players are playing to him more and he’s responding.

On a personal level his family are now here and his English is improving. With his work rate and cracking shots like today I think he could become the player we need.

I’m feeling it needs to be something like this maybe with a change in personnel.
    3 4 3

    Patto
    Ballard O9 Hjelde (or Seelt)
    Hume Ekwah/Jobe Neil Styles
    Ba/Roberts Rusyn Clarke

We need to be solid enough to win the chance to play. We look too vulnerable on the break repeatedly. All of those on the middle 4 can contribute further forward and having a more solid 4 in midfield makes harder to beat

If you're going to play 3-4-3 then I would play Ba rather than Roberts as he's quicker to get back defensively
