Yeah it was a very decent volley and right in the bottom corner, took the keeper by surprise but can’t take anything away from Rusyn. Theirs was a great finish but lucky as owt that the ball ended up at his feet.
Looked really good on the ball, confident too. Going to be big decisions made in defence. Everyone knows my opinion on O’nien and I think there could be a few players better than him at CB when we have our full backs all fit however he was brilliant today. Best I’ve seen him play for a while.
Yeah, was really impressed with him actually, forgot to mention it in my post. For being here such a short amount of time, he looks more than ready.
He deffo trapped the ball well and hit it well but goalie should have done better. However that is purely my opinion.
Only Sunderland fans can take anything away from Rusyns goal it was a great hit imo and from a player that hasn’t been getting chances, could have easily taken the safer option but he believes in himself and the manger should believe in him too. seems like people just look for the negatives at all times.
don't know if it's just me but his tone has defo changed mind, seem to be saying alot more of the right stuff in his last 3 interviews
For me Rusyn has to start the next game or Mr Beale won’t be getting my backing I’ve defended him but I’ve seen enough of Burstow dosent read the game well enough,I’m surprised Jobe got the full 90 as well
I haven't read any comments above about him but he looked really busy and if you don't shoot you don't score! I like the lad but he's very raw but I'd much rather play him than Burstow who to me is a complete waste of time. He's ineffective to put it bluntly.
Yeah the keeper won't be impressed with himself but it was a better shot than he's getting credit for from pundits etc.
Looks like he’s growing belief, which was what I was worried about first few weeks. Looks like he has conviction in What he’s saying now.
It would't shock me if someone has had a word with him about how he comes across. He's speaking more sense and not digging out individuals
it's much better and if he come in and started talking like that, i think half of the fans wouldn't of hated him as much
You blame when you feel a bit like you’re treading water. You take ownership when you feel in a position of strength. I think we are seeing a bloke growing into the role, and as that confidence builds you’d hope the shackles come off the lads in the park. It’s actually quite a fascinating evolution we are seeing.
It's so annoying/frustrating when we are getting crosses into the box (finally!) Yet no others are breaking into the box. That's got to be down to the coaches/manager to tell them to be braver.
