Funny game we had the better chances but would definitely have been a bit smash and grab if we'd won. Quite happy with that as you know how sick the Boro fans will be

Ba was as poor second half as Roberts was. And didn’t get letters, he also missed the easiest chance of the game. Roberts 1st game back from injury too. Never had the ball in an attacking position

Just in time for his 2 game ban. As Tesco says every little helps.

Bit of an odd game, often is when one team inexplicably comes out flat as a fart after half time. A draw probably fair.

Some positives, most of them Ukrainian. The LB was good too didn't look like a debut. Looks brave too I can see him winning plenty headers.

A decent point after a really shocking half hour after Half time, rusyn and a mistake saved us big time.

Positives: rusyn, Hjelde didn’t look out of place at all, first half was much better attacking wise than the last few weeks.

Improvements needed: wouldn’t give burstow any more chances personally. if jobe isn’t tired then he isn’t offering enough and needs to be taken out for me. Beale needs to start making subs way more proactively.

a decent point that keeps some momentum going

Why does the intensity drop off coming out second half? Not first time it happened!

Ba and Roberts both decent so hard to pick between the two!

It’s the “second half” thing. We were as good, if not slightly better than them first half imo. They were streets ahead without really looking dangerous or creating much second half , sure they only had one shot on target second half (think we did too).

I don’t remember either keeper making a top save.

A decent point tbh, poor 2nd half and we need to be better than that but shows a sign of the character in this team that they kept going.

Rusyn has to start every game, he totally changed the game when he came on - movement n pace caused them so many problems. We need to get him used to championship football.

Neil got better as the game wore on but he def needs someone alongside him, think styles could be that player tbh.

Burstow just isnt a threat at all, need your striker to pull defenders all over the place n be physical (like rusyn did) but he did nothing

Jobe needs a rest, he does some nice things at times but he doesnt move the ball quick enough n defensively he is a man down.

Ballard didnt have his best game, he really struggled with.greenwoods movement. I know o9 has his critics on here but thought he was the better of the 2 CBs again

4 points from last 2 games is a good return for Beale but he needs a good run of games now

Final point has to be on hjelde, i thought for a debut having not played in months he was very good. I think he will be a class signing for us, the exact type we needed - someone who could hit the ground running

No striker will score regularly with those tactics.
Time to drop Jobe and play Rusyn with either Hemir or Burstow, got to try 2 strikers, it’s just not working at the moment. Pleased with the point coz I just didn’t see us scoring

    Take that point and run.

Reminded me of the Ipswich game. Good shape, solid and carrying a threat in the first half, then utterly appalling second half.

From halftime until our goal was the worst i've seen us play for a long time, but as soon as we scored we looked excellent.

Roberts was shocking mind. Our worst player by a distance. Ran down blind alleys and didn't get to the back post for TWO tap ins. At least Ba gets himself in good positions.

Hjelde looks a player. Was a bit rusty at the start but thought he grew into it.

Another goal for a striker under Beale. Buzzing for Nazariy, makes great runs and is absolutely tireless.

Personally thought that was a baked result. We only started playing when they scored. Although a good shot from Rusyn the goalie should have done better in my opinion ( albeit ecstatic he wasnt) and why only 2 subs!
They were there for the taking the last 10 minutes when we started playing fast decent football. Why did we wait so long to produce.

The daft thing is, is we’re ****in mint hen playing at pace. is it the players of MB it’s hard to tell cos apart from not starting Rusyn he gets it right.

And don’t slate him I’m sick of it. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

a lot of it comes from the middle 3 losing the battle, putting rusyn on aswell and his pace pushed us up the pitch by about 20 yards and stop the constant ball coming back all the time was a massive help in the last 15
