whats the jist with our dutch scouting? is this a specific role someone has as thats 3 signings we've made from the dutch league just this season and whats simons injury? and wheres oscar
We've only made 2 from the Eredivisie. Pander and Lokilo. If you're on about Celi, we signed him from the Peruvian league. I believe Simons picked up an injury back in November And Oscar has just signed for a team in Brazil. He only just came back from injury last week
i was thinking belgium was the netherlands and thinking ohio was from the dutch league dont tell the belgians i meaan. technically belgium is netherlands and vice versa
So he was refusing to work, his boss was colluding with his position and yet he was on full pay with no disciplinary action taken. Gis a job - I can do that.
I haven't a clue, Jerry Seinfeld. If I was doing it for a Scooby Snack, I'd say that Acun's links to Fortuna have us in contact with former/current staff members from there, which allow us to tap into their networks. It's also only an overpriced ferry ride away, so it wouldn't shock me if we had somebody going over there on the reg. Simons last played for Fleetwood on the 25th November in a 3-0 to Stevenage and went off in that game in the 25th minute (presumably when he was injured). Since then, he hasn't featured for them at all and I'm pretty sure somebody on here said he was back at the club for treatment (was that the convo about players coming back for injuries but not cancelling the loan or was that Delap?) Oscar is back at the club and training, but he is heading out on loan to Bahia in Brazil (part of the City football group that Man City's owners run), who have an option to buy him and are paying a loan fee. Not done yet I don't think, but the transfer window in Brazil doesn't shut until the first week of March, so there's no rush to get that done. He could technically play for us, but I don't think City would want him getting injured, not sure Bahia would be happy.
You are Max Verstappen (he's Belgian whatever he says) and I claim my five pounds. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Metz are signing Oscar, they have an option. He’s off our books, gone. No need to worry about him anymore.
- Harry Vaughan played 62 minutes in Bristol Rovers 2-0 defeat to Fleetwood - Ryan Woods came on in the 83rd minute in Exeter's 2-1 win over Peterborough - Dogukan Sinik came on in the 91st minute and scored a penalty in a shootout as Hatayspor lost 3-2 on pens to Basaksehir after drawing 1-1 AET
- Harry Vaughan came on in the 71st minute in Bristol Rovers 2-1 loss to Burton Albion - Andy Smith played 73 minutes in Cheltenham's 1-0 win over Cambridge - Ryan Woods came on in the 89th minute in Exeter's 2-1 win over Wigan - Thimothee Lo-Tutala played the full game in Doncaster's 2-1 win over Tranmere - Callum Jones came on in the 73rd minute in Forest Green's 4-0 loss to Mansfield - Harvey Cartwright played the full game in Grimsby's 3-1 loss to Stockport - Owen Foster played the full game in Chorley's 3-1 loss to Solihull Moors
- Yuriel Celi came on in the 96th minute in Universitario's 1-0 win over Alianza Lima - Ryan Woods came on in the 76th minute in Exeter's 3-0 loss to Derby - Harry Vaughan came on in the 89th minute in Bristol Rovers 3-2 win over Stevenage - Callum Jones was an unused sub in Forest Green's 2-1 win over Barrow - Thimothee Lo-Tutala played the full game in Doncaster's 2-2 draw with Salford
Oscar is out on loan in Brazil earning us 6 figures off a free transfer, after earning us 6 figures in France in the first half of the season and not being able to cut it as a focal point in a mid table championship attack. Simons has done his rehab from injury here and gone back to finish his loan at Fleetwood. Not that he can get a game in L1 -but part of us taking him for a nominal amount was part a settlement in terms of shifting 25k a week loan liability for Vale half way through a full season loan contract, and he's now being distinctly OK for Bristol rovers. Obviously the club have contacts in the Dutch league, given the owner had some time and investment in a Dutch club (successfully, I might add.) So it's no surprise we'll use that as part of our network so to speak, same with Turkiye. Hope that isn't too much of a stretch to understand.
Surely Celi would have been better at a worse club. Literally gets brought in the last seconds of the game. Same with Vaughan.
Taylor was an unused sub for St Patricks win over Galway and Jarvis came on in the 60 min for Shelbourne's 1-1 draw against Waterford. First games of the season
Harry Vaughan came on at HT in Bristol Rovers 3-1 loss to Northampton - Andy Smith didn't feature at all for Cheltenham, maybe injured? - Ryan Woods unused SUB in Exeter's 1-0 loss to Lincoln C - Thimothee Lo-Tutala played the full game in Doncaster's 5-1 win over Grimsby - Callum Jones Unused sub in Forest Green's 2-0 loss to Crawley - Harvey Cartwright played the full game in Grimsby's 5 -1 loss to Doncaster - Owen Foster didn't feature in Chorley's 3-0 win over Southport - Jason Lokilo didn't feature in Vizela's loss to Benfica 6-1 - Oscar appeared to be an unused sub in Bahia loss to Vitoria
