The problem we have is that our injured players that are returning are being rushed back.

People slating Murphy yet has been out for months.
Hopefully this won’t happen to Barnes as far too many of our fans have the knives out for him already

However, Almiron is knackered and ill. I’m blaming the owners really

I don’t think anyone is skating Murphy for his overall contribution. It’s his final touch and distribution that he lacks.

His finish at the back post where he doesn’t connect well and it scoops over the bar.

His application is fine but the quality just isn’t there unfortunately.

And as suck maybe Miggy shouldn’t have started. But I guess we currently don’t have the luxury yet with still so many injuries.

No he shouldn’t have started. The same, to me, applies to Longstaff. We have certain players who are over worked. Oddly enough, the ones that then get chastised. Yet Bruno and Schar never are

Not allowed to post this, what's your geographic location? You're not Newcastle based <laugh>

But in seriousness, if FFP is as bad as people say, they probably can't sign anyone.

But I think Roland has a point about rotation

Read the top paragraph. This proves that Eddie isn’t picking his left back based on form
And facts. Burn being picked because he’s a top lad. Who played well against Villa (he came off second half if I remember).

Not on the facts of the game yesterday and the rapid lad who just walked past Burn every time.

Howes really into "character," he talks about character a lot.

Burn has one thing in droves, **** tons of character

Agreed. But can he defend against a kid who’s rapid.

Howes obviously a better manager than us all. But he is making the same mistakes.

The one thing missing from this is that Howe added that the tactical reason he picked Burn was to give that extra height and aerial presence.

In itself, this is no bad thing but when it was clear that Burn was having the same issues against Luton that he had when Bailey came on for Villa, he should have made a change. If Miggy was still ill, then bring Tino on and 5 at the back again maybe

Howe is the worst in game manager we've ever had at the club. He obviously comes up with a plan and believes in it 100% until the game is lost regardless of what is happening on the pitch. He's very good otherwise, but it's a massive flaw.

If he identified the issue and changed it immediately Newcastle would have won Yesterday and plenty of other games.

He isn't going to change and therefore he will never succeed. If he was a good manager he wouldn't have waited until they were losing 4 - 2 and it's as simple as that.

Seriously?? This must rank as one of your most OTT comments this year. With respect you make a point that you believe EH is bad at game management but then proceed to ruin your point with hyperbole.

You obviously can’t remember managers such as Richard Dinnis, Colin Suggett, Charlie Mitten, Joe Kinnear, John Carver and yes Steve Bruce. Are you honestly trying to say that EH who managed to achieve fourth last season, who managed to not only avoid relegation in his first season but reach eleventh and who managed to get us in the CL is worse than any of the ones I’ve mentioned never mind all of them??

I honestly don’t mind people being negative or down on Newcastle or EH or any player but when ridiculous hyperbole and exaggeration creeps in to support a view point that’s when I do get irritated and this comment is just one example of many from yesterday.

In game management was the specific reference and he's absolutely dreadful where that's concerned and I also said he was good otherwise.

I'd like to add this isn't an assessment based on one game and you're entitled to your own.

I stand by my view mate:emoticon-0148-yes:

I was aware it was specifically in relation to game management. My point still applies. You don’t get fourth in the PL with game management worse than any of those that I specifically mentioned.

What you're doing is disagreeing, but that doesn't make you right and therefore you have an opinion just like myself mate.

I stand by my assessment because I've seen it week in week out and he's dreadful at what I'm referring to.... it's absolutely fine for other people to say Bruce was worse at it, but he finished higher than rafa once and rafas own game management was very good.

People like Howe , so they will not like me saying anything bad about him basically.. I actually like him, but I dont think he's good enough for the next phase which is actually winning something.

Howe on the flip side is the best coach Newcastle have employed since I've been around. That I have no doubt on.

You can see it in every single video we show of training. I think that's his passion.

Tactics, game management I dunno. But coaching, improving players? Yes.

Yes I’m disagreeing but I’m taking issue with your hyperbole because it doesn’t stand up to logical examination. You may now claim it’s your view but I’m afraid I don’t believe you. I accept you believe EH is bad at game management and I have no issue with you having that opinion at all but no way do I think you genuinely believe he is the worst ‘ever’ at that at Newcastle and that’s what I’m taking issue with.
