Where is the intent, fight, press, attempt to attack?

Pure garbage. Slow, passive, like Rotherham away. Beale has us boring to watch

Feels like any 'bottle' this squad had was seemingly kicked out of them at Kenilworth Road.

What are you hoping from a lone striker pressing a back 3 from kick off other than a striker blowing out of his arse straight away while they pass around him because the midfield don’t bother pressing with him?

This is the problem now. Boro are able to change things up properly. Beale doesn’t seem to trust subs, so we only get a couple of predictable ones, usually too late

I agree, but I'll get told off for saying it.
We need some crumbs to justify this appointment.

Will Beale be here next season? Will he see out this season?
Right now I am not sure, Mowbray was criticised for not changing things quickly enough when we could see it wasn’t working, Beale takes that to another level entirely. How can we turn to ****e so quickly after what was a very positive first half performance, it’s like they are doing it on purpose to make a point!

Starting to feel for Rusyn, he's instructions from the coach must be, "just run and chase shadows".

That would mean Beale has an understanding of what's going on and change the course of a game.

Yet to see him to it

I just don’t understand how you can watch this game and not think Sunderland need to change the midfield in some way. Even if just Jobe for Aouchiche
