Maybe your post was just waffly and boring. You said he’d virtually forced cars off the road. There are a lot of cars on the road. Driving through London or almost all similar cities is slow and has been for decades and it’s considerably easier on public transport or cycling for those who can. A huge chunk of Londoners don’t drive because there’s no need to have a car. Blue badge holders don’t pay. Locals pay next to nothing. If you can’t afford the congestion charge and for some reason can’t use the better, cheaper alternatives then maybe give up avocados and lattes.
Probably dear Kusstardovich because everything's rolling along quite happily. A few yokels kicked off in France last week but they've all gone off on their tractors for a few vinos. The supermarket shelves are full of fresh produce unlike the UK where the people are being advised to eat turnips.

Mass uprising you say? I’m off to France at the end of this month, will travel to the Ardeche via Rouen, Tours and Fontainebleau. Will report back on this supposed revolution, which is more than likely just a few frog farmers with the hump as per.
A lot of driving on the wrong side of the road, visiting herself's extended family, none of whom speak a word of English; will have to get by in Franglais. Don't see any downside tbh.
