Weekend away, Trip to West Yorkshire, fish and chips,Go to ER to see Leeds win and meet up with the 606 crew (old and new) and plenty of ale.
Gyabi played the full 90 mins for Plymouth again in their 1-0 win away at Swansea. Just for the record it's exhausting filling in for Doc so if he's not back next week someone else will have to fill the void
Don't forget we've got Connor Roberts to come in too. I take it he must have had some assurances of game time, if so and Struijk comes back in, that leaves a problem for Farke with Ampadu, Gray, Gruev and Kamara battling for 2 places in the cm
Exactly but if it's not broke don't fix it. However we had good debate earlier in the season when Farke didn't rotate and utilize the squad he had available to him. Then when he finally did at Stoke he chose the wrong match, although it might really have been Paddy's fault to be fair.
Not just us that don't do playoffs. Leeds United, Bristol City, Wigan and Hartlepool have all made five end-of-season play-off appearances without winning a final, with Nottingham Forest, Portsmouth and MK Dons having made four without even making it past the semi-final. Interestingly Ipswich are also terrible at them but have at least been promoted once. Derby County, Reading and have each lost three times in the Championship play-off finals. Ipswich Town have participated in the Championship play-offs a joint-record eight times: 1987, 1997–2000 inclusive, 2004, 2005 and 2015, making the final only once in 2000 when they won promotion with a 4–2 victory over Barnsley. Derby County have also qualified for the play-offs eight times, with their only promotion coming following a win over West Bromwich Albion in the 2007 final. Leicester City have reached the Championship play-off final four times (in the space of five seasons), losing two in 1992 and 1993 and winning two in 1994 and 1996.
Didn't Forest get promoted via the play offs under Steve Cooper ? Anyway we've a good chance because we're better than most in our division.
Good old Preston, that’s given me some fun with Italian, I mean Spanish. He’s I think we look better with Ampadu/Rodon and Gruev/Kamara but how do you leave Gray out. LB anyone
You can imagine Connor Roberts to his agent, “will I get game time” The agent tells him, “They loaned out last seasons first choice Ayling, they sent Spence back and they’re having to use some make shift 17 year old midfielder, you’ll walk in”.
Probably should add that if I put my two best nines together then would have been looking at mid 60’s. However golf ain’t like that so low round was/is 72 and I’m not getting any younger
