Great win. Looked like Man City for the first 10 mins. Keep that up for every 90 mins remaining and we could still squeeze automatic if we win every game. (Ha!). My MotM was Tufan. He was a beast today. Great to see Philogene back and Zahoury and Giles look class.
Totally agree re Tufan MOTM. his pressing was first rate and as usual when he received the ball invariably he made a first time pass which put us on the front foot from an attacking perspective

Ohio looked a bit off it, but every single time he got the ball played to him he was being pulled all over and the ref thought, nah I'll allow that.....how we got more yellows than they did today is beyond me.....nothing dirty but just constant fouls whenever we got over half way

I thought the same, ref let them get away with everything, Philogene was kicked all over the park and still found himself being the one getting booked!

I don’t think Ohio was bad. Only mistake of note was him going for that ball that was Slater’s which led to a loose touch and Millwall got the ball but he was hardly ****e. Looks strong and fast.

I thought we had a lot of individual quality before the window. Now it’s just ridiculous! That alone, will get us lots of points. We should be in those playoffs by the end of the season. Well done to Rosenior and the team for the incredible recruitment.

As someone said, the first part of the match was incredible. The intent, the quick attacking play. It’s what we’ve been wanting to see for ages.

The only negative was that it was only 1-0. They could easily have nicked a goal on a couple of occasions and that would have been disastrous.

It would have been nice to see Omur. But maybe he isn’t match fit? I was surprised to see Zaroury taken off. I thought he was excellent. I’d have taken off Carvalho at that point. He kept hanging on to it a bit too long, as if he was tired. But maybe that’s his style of play?

Overall, things are looking very bright and lots of winnable games coming up!

Lot of promise in that performance, but some familiar failings too. Final balls were consistently poor and as a result we actually barely created a chance in the game. We were clearly superior but didn't really find ways to make it count, aside from the early goal. The quality of Zaroury and Philogene in that moment was crucial, and we defended stoically again. Hopefully in the coming weeks we're able to turn that neat play into more chances and make things more comfortable.

I thought our pressing was brilliant early on (none more so than for the goal) but it faded and that probably allowed them back into it.

Yes the pressing led to their mistake for Zahoury’s shot and Philo’s goal. Don’t think Tufan’s pressing flagged, but agree that others stopped backing him up as much.

Too negative. Stop pissing your pants.
