It'll go to the last day of the season, an away game so not too optimistic as Wycombe could be okay and relaxed and stroll it.
Might be good for Charlton to go down. Currently you are a small fish in the League One pond - you'd be one of the biggest 6 in League 2.
I'd say it's odds on now that we're going down. 60/40 in favour roughly. Don't know what the bookies are saying. At least two of the teams currently in the bottom 4 will have a resurgence. Happens every season. Reading will be one of those I think. Our upcoming game against them isn't looking as hopeful for 3 points as it did maybe a month ago. I don't think the new gaffer will have the spine or the balls to save our 3rd tier status. None of them have so far. Same old story, just the next chapter.
9/1 with Bet 365. That’s got to be a win win. If we go down, you make some good money. If we don’t, you won’t care that you’ve lost some. I’m in at 9’s
Whilst in horse racing blinkers often help to bring success - my profile pic proves it , on football forums they do not. The false positivity is seriously ridiculous. We might be 20th at the end of today. In Division *****ng 3. It’s all very well being one of the first to know about Jones’s appointment (bit like being the first to know about Appleton’s sacking last weekend ?) but that doesn’t improve our chances of staying up.
They are very good odds. The problem with betting on this is wanting a defeat to get your money. A midget in the away end at Wycombe celebrating us going down would not end well
I see it as a defeat and relegation meaning that at least you have something positive to think about on the journey home
All those late winners against us is what knocked the stuffing out of the team. I don't expect this to continue under Jones or Warnock, either of whom is a big upgrade on Apples. Even if we're in the bottom 4 by the end of February I think there will be 4 teams worse than us by the end of the season, although it will be close.
“Reading losing 1-0 We might stay up by default.” Is about as positive as I get Edit…..whoops, spoke too soon, now 1-1. See, that’s what happens when you try to be positive
Reading got a draw against Oxford. The Royals have lost only one of their last 10 games according to SSN. Far better form than ours.
Just looked at Readings fixtures in February. Unless we beat them next week I think they will be above us by the end of the month. A drawer isn’t good enough. And bearing in mind that Port Vale have three games in hand on us and are just one point behind, I’d say it’s almost certain we will be in the bottom four come the end of the month. SE7, Scott, Rodwell, but above all Mr Methven - you have brought this club to its lowest position in living memory. Anyone who still believes your bullshit needs to give their head a wobble.
Yep. That would constitute a successful end to the season. That’s how far we’ve fallen under these idiots. And just as a reminder, under Thomas and Martin Sandgaard we finished 10th last season.
