Just found out somebody i drank with and classed as a friend and supposedly Lfc fan ,still buys the Scum newspaper.Needless to say he has been well and truly F%ck£d Off. What would you have done?
Err, I don't think I'd stop being friends with someone because they read the sun. It's the most read newspaper in the UK and not talking to people who read it would leave you without mates. I would, however, immediately dismiss the fact that they were a genuine LFC fan. If they were GENUINELY a LFC fan, I could never respect them and would probs not talk to them again.
No genuine Liverpool fan would ever even touch it. There's a Scouser who works down the corridor in our office building. I got chatting to him a few days ago. I noticed he had a copy of the Mirror with him. I asked if he was Red or Blue and he said he was Blue. I said I thought he may be a Red as he was a Mirror reader. He said he wouldn't go aywhere near the filthy s..t, and no Scouser should. Now you don't have to be a Scouser to support Liverpool, but anyone true to the Reds would never go anywhere near it
As people have said earlier, and Liverpool supporter reading The Sun isn't a proper Liverpool supporter. If I have to choose a paper I go with The Guardian, I know it's a manc paper but their football coverage is very good, I'd then lean towards the mirror but only because of Brian Reade
Quite like the i newspaper myself. The football coverage isn't the best out there but it's a decent newspaper content wise and it's only 20p.

Something to do with Hillborough. I don't really understand it, all I know is that it's a ****ing stupid paper read by brain dead morons yet it's the most popular newspaper in this country, tells you something doesn't it?
The lying bastards, on the front page, accused us the fans there that day of causing the deaths by attacking the police etc... So we've boycotted it since. As usual we realised Murdoch was trouble before everyone else...

i have had to point young guys to the appropriate sources cos they don't get it.when i do they get it. why some people read that trash and even after the notw utter scummy hacking stuff i can't really see why a rational human being will touch any of those papers
