Probably a fair result. Annoying as there was a period that second half we were started to look comfortable. But the sucker punch was always possible when you are only a goal up.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Threw the points away.
We were in complete control and they weren't creating anything.
Why go defensive and invite them on? Very poor.

Kulusevski was so poor when he came on, lost the ball every single time

Poor game from us. Richy saves us with those finishes but we in no way deserved 3 points. Have to do a better job in the air at set pieces. Spurs will rue a couple of decisions that could have gone either way - the first goal on Vicario and the potential pen on VdV in the second half but we simply didn’t play well enough and generate enough chances to win.

They were diving all over the place all game.
Dyche's dark arts and Michael Oliver are not a good combination.

I can always tell when these results will occur.
Half-committed tackles (not winning enough of the 50:50s) .

It is utterly essential that Spurs sign an MF leader
who can be captain of the team.

over the course of the game, Everton were better than us. We still looked tired from Wednesday, IMO.

I know we need to rotate where possible, but I’ve got to the point with the likes of Gil where I’d rather we just keep a nakered player on the pitch instead of bringing him on.

    Why?
No point in VAR if play has already been stopped and if the assistant ref is unsure then logically he shouldn't flag if no VAR.

I can see a weekend of results not going out way as well.

villa are sure to beat Sheff united.
I reckon arsenal will beat Liverpool.
    Newcastle will beat Luton
    City will beat Brentford.
I guess the only positive is that one of (or both) united and West Ham will drop points.

I do think we have to factor in that we only had 2.5 days since the last game and we looked shattered the last 10 minutes.
Of course the manner of the dropped points is disappointing, but a point away at Everton isn’t a terrible result.

Because players can get injured when the game should have been stopped , what would happen if a player gets a red for a 2nd foul if the game is allowed to on but then the flag goes up

Far too early in the season to worry about such things.

Luton were very lucky against Brighton.
Anything less than a 3-0 win would be a disgrace for the Toon.
