With Doc taking a break we need something for the weekend Sir.

So after 5 wins on the bounce where will we finish this season ?

The Jamster is sticking with his 3rd place pre season prediction but that we'll go up through the play offs.

Also what's your favourite weekend destination and who would you take with you ?

It seems that Generation Z would all choose Dubai, however I'm more traditional so somewhere like Dublin for the craic and Emma from LUTV can tag along so I don't get bored....perfect <smooch>

My head is saying 3rd and my heart second, it depends on Southampton, if we’re 3rd I hope Southampton go up as I’d not want them in the playoffs.

I’m still buzzing, we played some lovely football, the players look happy, we won and turned the pressure up.

Packing today as we’re moving next week, it’s been 11 months of incompetent estate agents and solicitors house sale falling through twice but we finally exchanged yesterday

I’ve never been to Croatia or Bulgaria so I wouldn’t mind visiting either, I’d take the wife.

Croatia is brilliant but I have my place in Spain and that’s still my favourite place. Good to be in 2nd place but both Ipswich and Southampton have two games in hand. Unfortunately I have never got the post out of my head (though I can’t remember who posted it) about how Leedsy it would be to finish 3rd, beaten Ipswich twice and lose to them in the playoffs :headbang:

I moved house just over a year ago. It's bedlam.

Good luck and the stresses will soon be forgotten.

Firstly hope Doc is ok don't get on much through the week so big ups to him n whatever reason.
People might think I'm crazy but I still think we can win the League Not sounding over confident but I think we will bag one of the top 2 positions. As I said in the other thread the 3 going up are the 3 that came down. in what order that is up to the gods.
As on destinations as everyone is chipping in Croatia has been popular in the discussion and I would 100% agree I lived there for a Year in Split. Bottom of Croatia (West) is a fantastic place to visit. Who would I take hmmm as my Wife doesn't read these has to be Gal Gadot I would brush my teeth with her Shyte Love the woman lol.

Had some great family holidays in Orlando when kids are growing up. If I won a shedload of cash I’d love to bring them back one more time. Confident of third too but not as confident of winning the playoffs. They’re a pure lottery

    Weekend destination?

I love the Lake District. Loads of good runs and walks. There's the touristy stuff to do too and lake activities like swimming, kayaking and stuff for the family. Good food too.

My missus has family that live in Devon and its really nice down there too.

    Fell thr
Fell through twice, second time we had waited 12 weeks before discovering our buyer had no mortgage and the estate agent came up with every excuse that they had done DD. This time round should have moved and exchanged last week but the solicitor below us forgot to order mortgage funds.

Daughter who is 35 fell pregnant with second child and is due in three weeks, at two months pregnant she found our her hubby had been cheating on her so her and the little 4 year old moved in with us, which meant change of the type of house we were looking to move to until she can get settled again.

2023 was a very testing year, we are moving to a rural property, cesspit, LPG gas and a 500 feet garden that's a mini woodland. Cesspit needs £10k of work doing to it (we knew and price reflects).

Looking forward to it though, I was born in Northampton and late fifties I fancied one last adventure

    Village called Thorney Cambridgeshire

Just googled it. Looks class mate.

Ours fell through just the once and only just sneaked through the 2nd time. I spent 3 months in rented property including a static caravan waiting for our house to be ready. Really stressful and my son was sitting exams to enter the local Grammar school at the time too.

A year on, I'm sat in my new house in my man cave in the Yorkshire Dales. My son is at the Grammar school and life has never been better. I'm sure you'll get to a similar place bud. Just tough this bit out and you're golden.

Your daughter will be better off long term too without that ****house of a husband. My sisters partner left her when she was in her early 20's with 2 year old twin girls and a newborn baby boy. It was tough but everyone helped out and there's no doubt she was lucky to get away from that coward.

Enjoy your new house. Looks a really nice village.

Sounds like Croatia is worth a visit so thanks for the recommendations and might give it all whirl sometime.

Can't understand all the fuss about Dubai to be honest so won't be going there anytime soon. Which brings me onto the 2034 World Cup in Saudia Arabia which promises to be a barrel of laughs. Fans should just give it a swerve but of course they won't.
