yeah maybe although I just do wonder if Maddison and Bentancur can work together. IMO we need 2 of either Skipp, Hojbjerg, Sarr or Bissouma to allow Maddison to play his game and not leave us so exposed

 

Think so. And it will limit where this team can go in terms of success.

Next season, the players will be more used to his workings but the extra fixtures will negate that.

 

Hojbjerg is not the correct starting XI selection today,
as Skipp was not really for Brentford. I understand the
manager rotating the squad where he can, and I am
also know he is not afraid of making corrective subs at HT.

I was hoping Sarr could be spared a run out today,
but that looks unlikely now.

 

seeing as there’s nothing we can do about decisions on the pitch, maybe getting Dragusin on with plenty of time to go is a good idea? Might give us a bit more protection.

 

hopefully we will keep adding to the squad and be a bit more lucky with injuries and suspensions, but I get your point.
