No composure/control in MF at the moment.
This is the problem when Bentancur + Hojbjerg
are not capable of doing the Bissouma/Sarr work.

Everton targeting Vic at corners. Last one was a blatant foul but not given.

It’s getting scrappy again. Bit of a different midfield setup with more of a double pivot and it’s affecting our progression a bit.

Thankfully we have plenty of options to change the game if we need to. And the early goal took the sting out of the crowd a bit.

We are there for the taking at the moment, it’s a matter of time before they score

    Targeting Vicario has paid off.

He needs to be a lot stronger there

That wasn’t a foul, Everton are gonna target Vicario at every opportunity now.

    agree.
I’m not even sure it’s a case of targeting Vicario because of a weakness. It’s just ****housery by flooding the goal line and hoping for the best.
We should be doing the same. Plenty of goal keepers would struggle.

This is getting ridiculous now, players can just lean into the keeper with impunity. He didn’t actually do to bad there, just unlucky the tip landed right on tarkowski’s head.

I have no problem with the goal, as long as those are given consistently in all games. Vicario must be stronger but would be interesting if he pushed back if that is allowed too.

Spurs cannot play the pivot trap with Hojbjerg.
I suspect that Sarr will be his sub at the start of next half.

Yeah I’d encourage my players to do it if I was a manager, a lot will be given as fouls but it only takes one not to be given and you’re onto a winner

Can't say it wasn't coming. Yes, it was a foul on Vicario, but we've been **** for the past 25 minutes.
Hojbjerg and Bentancur particularly have been well off the pace and Johnson hasn't helped the forward play
    Need to wake up

Yep. But it seems like more decisions are going against the goalkeeper now. That’s 2 for us in a week.
Just need to return the favour and exploit it ourselves.
