awww , poor old fella. Hes been so used to grovelling sycophants fawning all over his golden boys. When it all goes tits up he dont know where to put himself. Gotta feel sorry for him . not .
Clearly does not think that only winning two games in one of the easiest groups I have ever seen is not a problem.
It must be even more annoying for him because he has been dismissing City as irrelevant for so many years. Now they are making his team look like has beens. as someone who has to put up with a lot of Man U fans ,it very very amusing to me.
I have to say i despise Manure so much , and i can only see City being the ones to displace them so....... I hope city continue to win. Maybe in a few seasons i will be just as cheesed off with them, but for now.................its hilarious.
That would mean they would be higher then us. I thought you would rather loose CL football then let that happen.
So would rather see Spurs win the title over City. But, you said in the other thread that you would not be able to bear the stick Spurs fans would give if they came higher then us. So now you think you can cope with the gloating they would do if they only went and won the bloody thing?
You have massively contradicted yourself ! you either despise Spurs or you don't. No real fan could conceive a scenario where they would accept Spurs winning the title. no way. Never. I thought you understood the local rivalry .. it is clear that you don't. Not having a go or anything, but for an Arsenal fan to say that .. that aint right.
Sorry, **** that. As much I also hate City I just can't even imagine picking Spurs over them if I had to pick between the two on who I would rather see win the title. Them winning 2 league titles () and not winning it for 50 years is bloody hilarious. I would not want anything to ruin that fact. So its City for me.
Spurs finishing above Arsenal and Man City winning the title are not linked events. You can hate two things, but hate one thing more than the other.
Adebayor, something out of nothing: Spurs don't have the individual brilliance of RvP, but they have a collection of reasonable strikers. Arsenal have one diamond, and other...not so goods.
As a North Londoner and lifelong Arsenal fan I don't understand your comment. City have money, cry me a river, I don't hate them at all, I don't like what they are doing to football but .. so what ! We were able to compete with Chelsea's Abramavich for years until; Wenger went loopy with his sodding project, I'm not having this money argument at all, had Wenger bought proper players we'd still be battling for titles, so the money argument cuts no ice with me, its a weak excuse. It seems as though many Arsenal fans have no idea about the Arsenal/Spurs rivalry - if they did there is not a chance in hell that they would find Spurs winning the title - in ANY scenario - acceptable. It just isn't. No way .. no how. City shouldn't even come close to Spurs when it comes to dislike or hatred. If anything you should hate Chelsea more than City because they have the spending power of City, have bought the league already AND are a London club !!! Football is tribal .. lest we forget !!!
To be honest I'm with SAF on this one. I'm sick of WUM hack journo bellends spouting utter bollocks. I read the Steven Howard column in the Sun the other day (I know, I shouldn't have bothered) and he was saying that Mertesacker was a 'dud', not cut out for the the Premier League and Koscielny should be moved infield as soon as possible as he is a quality defender. Last season the twat was saying that Koscielny was hopeless! What a moronic ****!!
As far as being with SAF on this one. How can you justify it? The question was very reasonable, yesterday we saw two top Premier League clubs struggle against European competition, even as far as one of them is almost certainly out, and United have to go to Basel and get a points result (something that isn't the easiest of tasks). SAF dismissed the fact they were struggling and walked out. THIS IS DELUSIONAL. To say that United aren't struggling is DELUSIONAL. They have to go away for their final game of the group and get a points result, THIS IS STRUGGLING. United have possibly the easiest groups to qualify to the knockout stages, YET they have to go to the last game which is away and get something. For SAF to not respond just shows how delusional he is, and how he is babied by the SSN interviews into only being positive towards him. This IMO is disgraceful and im yet to find a reason to why he hasn't been reprimanded by the FA for these actions and past actions accordingly. The journo actually gave a thought provoking question, and was incorrectly told he was stupid. United ARE struggling in Europe, needing points from the last game which is AWAY is struggling for a top Premier League team. If they were in Arsenals group (against TWO league champions and a 2nd place) then having to go to the final game is somewhat understandable, BUT if Arsenal don't qualify tonight, I will still say they somewhat struggled to qualify.
As far as I'm aware the media commitment is that you turn up. You don't actually have to answer questions. They can't make you answer anything at all. So walking out still fulfills his obligation because he turned up. By not responding to the question he's not only saying "we're not struggling" but also taking the focus off the loss and putting it on himself, and telling the media they'd better be nice to him if they want their soundbites - making his future interviews easier.
