I'd be surprised if we could get Zarouhry on a perm. Think what led to us believing we had a chance with Willock is that he is out of contract in June. But then would QPR want to facilitate him leaving in a relegation scrap??
So why did Baz and White suggest that Zaroury was a loan rather than permanent because it's quicker to organise?
I think the players have a say also, if they are happy here they may push for a move if the club wants them here full time that goes for all the loans we have if we go up I am pretty sure we will try wrap a few of them up. They come here because they were not getting game time which suggests they may not be happy so anything is possible.
I assume it came down to Willock on a perm or Zaroury on loan. But ultimately I'm just saying what was said. Think it was White on sports talk
If he's not getting a game now, that means that Burnley will be looking to sell players who are getting a game in front of him. Bearing in mind they'd just been relegated (maybe/perhaps) who in the Premiership would be jumping to buy them. Maybe 1 or 2 or 3... but the decisions might be more a new managers...
The club has backed him to get them back up from the Championship. If you think they've left it this long and this certain of relegation only to sack him out of the blue it's more than a bit daft.
Would think Postecoglou would be the more logical successor, especially having worked at a City Group club before, but it'll certainly be interesting to see what they do.
