I was thinking the same. Why would Everton loan him out to a direct rival that may help keep them up?
Everton won’t consider Sheff Utd rivals. They will be looking more at the Fulham’s etc of the league as their rivals when they get their points reinstated
He makes sense for them. Ipswich is much less possession-dominant than the other members of the top four, and until he got injured they were already playing through a very tall CF in Hirst much of the time.
They all seem very confident it will be reduced on appeal. Not sure about the new charges might mean they stay on -10 total
Hull are killing it this window. Apart from Carvalho, they've got Ryan Giles - won of the best RBs in the league last year, Abdul Omur - the "Turkish Messi", and Anass Zaroury, the Burnley LW.
Ryan Giles is a LB.i wanted him instead of Manning. But yes, They've got a team that I think definitely makes Llay offs if they click.
Confirmed This, mason hollgates loan to SU is BBC football headlines, and some nobody's are playing darts on SKY coverage
Interesting window from our POV. Not sure we are any better or worse off, for me that will depend on how Rothwell does. Our matchday squad is in theory stronger for having brought in Brooks. Not much we could do about it, but we have lost the depth at CB which may or may not be important, we'll find out. IMO Charly is going to be a loss going into a busy stretch of games and 4 of the toughest away fixtures to date. Not sure Rothwell can come on and change the game and create something from nothing like Charly could, and that could be the difference in tight games. Keeping hold of KWP for another window is the most important thing though, good thing for us the PL clubs are running scared of FFP. Edit: Also, we could really do with Adams continuing to perform even now the window has shut.
I was sad to see Alacraz leave but think that he was a talent who was wasting his time trying to break into a Russell Martin team. I concur that it was clear that RM did not fancy him but,by the same token, the comment made by someone on this board several mnths ago that he was more sited to the Premiership as opposed to grafting in the Championship was a good one. I do not thik having him leave will affect the promotion bid as he was not instrumental to the team. Keeping KWP was far more positive for our prosepcts, in my opinion, Cannot believe no one came in for him.
