Probably yes we can't afford him...he's a very good striker now and does a bit of everything well. He'd be ideal to rotate or even play with Isak.
Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari in 2025 is the biggest transfer news of the day. Sky Sports desperate for a big football transfer to happen.
Everybody wants/needs too much money for players due to FFP. £50m for ****ing Broja, wtf?!?!?!?!? He's a £15m player at absolute most, yet Chelsea are even pushing £5m for a bloody loan, it's mental!! Either Saudi Pro League buys a player, or you can't sell. I mean, didn't Juve agree £35m for a Southampton midfielder?! Good or not, we're talking about ridiculous money for a Championship player. Then our issue is we want a loan - but who can you get on loan that actually immediately strengthens the squad? CM's are hard to come by, CF's even more so - look at Arsenal, desperate for a striker, lot richer/better than us and can't find one. Our scouting as well is really geared at youth, it would seem. The only options I think we could possibly get, and even then are almost impossible, would be Neves or Kessie for midfield, and/or someone like Mitrovic as cover up front. Saudi league seems like the only option.
I saw that about Broja too. £50m is an absolute joke. Here's a bit of perspective for you. In the last 18 months, Broja has scored a total of 3 goals in all competitions. 3. In that same time both Big Dan Dustbin and Jacob Fookin Murphy have each scored 6. Yes, both scored twice as many as a £50m-rated so-called international striker. And I know some will say "but Broja was injured". Well in those 18 months he's actually played more games than Murphy, but scored half as many goals. Let that sink in. ****, if Broja is worth £50m then the likes of Miggy must be worth over £100m.
That was my heart speaking ... My head says it's possible we'll sign somebody who can play up front and score. I'm about to board a flight from Tenerife - hoping for good news after touch down
