Hate to have a go at a debut poster but what a load of nonsense. Championship Manager generation of football fans that think a couple of bad results and you need to sell your squad and buy a whole new one.

Us Chelsea fans are on a hiding to nothing with stuff like this being posted (and in November FFS!!)

No that's right you were never a selling club, except when sir Alex comes calling then you point your arse in the air.

You're on a good run, well done. So are Newcastle and they already have a bigger stadium and fan base then you yet I don't hear this over the top nonsense from them.

Spurs, literally a different breed. Don't talk about being title challengers when you've not been one for decades. Have some ****ing humility.

  4. I cannot disagree with any of that. I fully accept that one of the reasons you have been so strong for so many years is because you've managed to keep the same squad of top players together. The problem you have now is the same problem that SAF has had several times during his career, and which Whinger is having for about the third time in his, and that is having to rebuild another winning side. SAF has been remarkably good at building successive winning sides (which, love him or loathe him is the reason why he's the greatest club manager of all time), but Whinger has failed to rebuild another "invincibles" team. Some of you have faith in AVB that he is the one to build the winning Chelsea team for the next decade, but mostly everyone else has serious doubts about that.

For me, this Spurs side is capable of winning everything, in time, which is why Levy will fight tooth and nail to keep it together.

Heard this before last season when Spurs were fourth, us fifth, 14 points behind United. Pienaar chose the club 'on the up'.

We came second in the league and Spurs nowhere

Every footie fan has rose tinted glasses so fair enough if you actually believe that. However, if you want to wax lyrically about Spurs, do it on your own board where people might actually give a ****.

  10. SW6, can you not ban Robby202 from your board? He is incredibly foul-mouthed and extremely abusive, and does absolutely nothing to enhance the quality of debate on this board <ok>

Hodd I think you need to lay off going around the other boards talking up our team. I know you have alot of confidence in us and this is definately the best spurs side for a very long time but I think you are getting slightly ahead of yourself with some of your comments <ok>

Are you mad to think that Van Persie would want to join Chelsea ?
He will wait for a real big club to come in for him, that isn't passionless,
pompous with a mute dictator at it,s head.

Chelsea entertain Wolves at Stamford Bridge this weekend, and John Terry is looking forward to their arrival.

He said, "Wolverhampton is a great town. I love the Black Country as it has two of my favourite syllables." lol

You guys should stop panicking am sure you will win tonight

I hardly see how Hoddle is getting carried away, as at present Spurs are looking certainties for the top 4, and for me, they have a much stronger first 11, than Chelsea Arsenal and Liverpool, and it it could also be argued there squad is stronger to.

As I said at the start of the season Spurs have atleast 5 players that would walk straight into the teams of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. For Example

King > Carragher Mertersacker and Terry
Modric, Van Der Vart and Parker > Ramsey, Adam, Lampard, Arteta, Lucas etc
Bale > Malouda, Downing and Gervinho

And there are plenty of other Spurs players, who are atleast the equal of there rivals in the same position, the likes of Dawson, Ekotto, Walker Lennon, and even the goalkeeper Friedel is pretty good.

If it wasn't for Man City, I'd honestly consider Spurs genuine title contenders, as there side isn't any worse than even Man Utd at present

  18. What? Am I hearing right? Are you a closet Chelsea/Arsenal fan?

Yes, I do have a lot of confidence in Spurs. I've had confidence in us since the days of Jol, and I have been gravely disappointed that we have not finished 4th more often in that time. But even neutrals can sense that this is a completely different Spurs squad, one with flair, pace, ability and great determination.

And so what if I am a little too effusive? What harm does that do? I love Spurs, and I am loving the free-flowing football we are playing. Plus, who knows how long this will last?

Have a downer on our current position in the table if you wish, but please don't pretend to speak for all Spurs fans, as you most certainly do not speak for me.

Listen big grin, you're beginning to piss me right off. 99% of your comments are snide and this one was the most incorrect <doh>.

    Ivanovic > Walker
Terry > ANY Spud defender, except when King is on form in his 6 game season.
    Cole > Ekotto
    Mata >>>> Bale
    Sturridge > Lennon.

Only thing Spurs better us with is their balance in the center of the park.
We have a terrific squad, almost the same squad who won the double but they're getting used to a totally different game.
Now **** off our board, you're truely obsessed.

If you're going to have a tiff PM him, he's telling you the truth. You do realise Chelsea's depth is far more likely to conquer Spurs in final position and if we do I can assure you everyone on this board will be hunting you down <ok>.

These thread's are ****ing me off, somebody please do something about these idiots and their provokative comments.

I've known some pretty deluded wum fans in my years, principally among Mickey Mousers and Gooners, but you are fast placing yourself at the top of my list.

Keep going. I'm book-marking it all.
